So remember that chinese clone of horizon zero? Turn out Sony might have a problem with them.

While I think Sony has a pretty strong case, I don't think it would be a good precedent if company could claim copyright on idea like "dinosaur mech".

Well this is just insulting.

Candy Crush developer King is firing developers after they have developed the AI tools to do their job for them. Despite the fact that King is not a developer in precarity.

(the news item is in Swedish but referencing an article from Bloomberg behind a paywall)
Not surprised in the slightest. They were bought by Activision, and thus later bought by Microsoft. Another bunch of asshole execs pulling the AI grift. This was to be expected after seeing these patterns the first time.

It’s highly likely Sony also just gave them more future sales than they would’ve gotten if they ignored them.

You know, I am willing to bet EA was planning for $80 games, but when they saw Microsoft backtrack, they panicked and kept the $70 price tag.

Kinda surprised to see EA do this. But the big douche also said "We're not looking to make any changes on pricing at this stage,", meaning they are looking for excuse to do so.

Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?.... I did? Well tell that to these morons. When they stop doing same stupid shit, I will stop repeating the ancient meme

I'm not surprised that EA or ACTI aren't going to increase the price base, because both of those fuckers release games with 100 dollar Gold editions or whatever, and the games make billions with MTX's, so an extra 10 bucks per purchase means nothing to them.

Still waiting for the open beta to get an actual feel for the game, but looks amazing. Or maybe this is a placebo effect from how disappointing BF2042 was.

No specialist, and going back to class system? Hell yes. Escalation game mode looks fun.

It looks like we won't get something as dramatic as levolution in BF4, but rather they went for more small-scaled, but detailed desctuction of smaller buildings. I am happy!

Portal mode, aka map editor, is back. Hopefully it actually sticks around this time.

I would also love to see a map set in Seoul.
