I see Serinda Swan's in this. I wonder if a fellow Smallville alumnus going to show up every season.

It does actually look pretty good. I'm not 100% sold on the casting yet (Aang looks uncomfortably younger than Katara), but the effects so far are already better than the movie. Not that that was high bar.
Holy shit, do my eyes deceive me? AN ACTUAL EFFORT to respect the source material? Casting look a near-perfect match to the cartoon characters?
Yeah, maybe it's because of the Shamalan movie this one looks so good. No seven earthbenders needed to move a rock! That's a start for sureIt does actually look pretty good. It is really uncanny to see Cavill's Geralt in animated form.
Yeah, I agree! The silver lining is that apparently, Lauren won't be the executive producer, while others will take over the writing. It is really uncanny to see Cavill's Geralt in animated form.
Anyway, as good as this looks, I'm really just not interested in Netflix's Witcher universe anymore. It's not even a question of contradicting the books or the games or whatever, they just feel so generically fantasy. Especially in animated form, it lacks the dirt and grime that I associate with the universe.
Girlfriend: "It's all wrong, Yusuke's (sp?) personality is way too serious, they don't even show Hiei (sp?) in the trailer or Kuwabara (sp?), horrible wig on Kurama (sp?), why is it so dark, looks nothing like the manga, it was supposed to be fun and light-hearted at least at the beginning, I'm tired chief, anime live actions always suck, I am so sad".
They did show Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama. I don't know what your gf was looking at. As for Yusuke being "more serious", that is nothing new. The guy can snark, but he is not afraid to get serious during a serious moment. Also, that the English dub anime talking that added a few more lines of wit or snark.Girlfriend: "It's all wrong, Yusuke's (sp?) personality is way too serious, they don't even show Hiei (sp?) in the trailer or Kuwabara (sp?), horrible wig on Kurama (sp?), why is it so dark, looks nothing like the manga, it was supposed to be fun and light-hearted at least at the beginning, I'm tired chief, anime live actions always suck, I am so sad".
Okay, I am not a fan of Zack Synder's work on the DC movies and the weird fanbase that sprung up around them.
