I know why she'd take the job. It's Disney wanting anything to do with her that surprises me.
Disney now runs solely on nostalgia. and from what I've seen Lohan has somewhat gotten her act together. If it was 8 years ago they never would've done this.

The timing of the release of this trailer though!

NGL, it looks like one of those low-budget b-tier movies, but still looks way better than Disney live-action

Holy shit, this might be the first time that i actually go watch a MCU movie, in a very long time. The last one i watched was Shang-Chi, while the rest i felt didn’t click.

NGL, I didn’t recognize half of the casts here, while others completely threw me off; As soon as I saw Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, I instantly knew they are going to expand further on the multiverse stuff, but i hope not in a weird direction

El Eternauta, Argentina's most famous comic book, serialized in the late 1950s, and probably its most famous case of cinematic development hell, finally makes it to the (small) screen via Netflix:

It stars Ricardo Darín, who at 68 is more than double the age of the story's protagonist, but that just goes to show the local industry peaked around 30 years ago, and we simply don't have any bankable stars that age.

And it takes place in a modern setting, probably due to costs but also to sidestep the uglier/more questionable political context of the times.
