Tom and Jerry golden era will finally be available uncensored.
The censorship was brutal.

CinemaScope Collection from early this year is lovely. Still have watched only two movies. They were so badly cropped before.

The stupid thing about the censorship and the Volume 2 collection on BD being cancelled years ago due to "offensive" scenes is that barely any kids are watching the series. TV is dead. Almost all the Tom and Jerry viewers now have to be adults. Kids are watching flashy, clean digital animations, not Blu-rays of "decrepit" old toons shot on grainy film. Even if millions of kids were still watching it, they shouldn't have censored it, but that they're likely not watching it anymore made it so much more pointless.

Oof, 5000 competitors. Sure is a dog eat dog world out there. Charlie looking like he's taking the role super seriously. Summer is just happy to be there. But to nitpick, those are some rather obviously different dogs tho. Then again, no rule saying a dog can't be two dogs.

Soooo, did not see this coming - Usually when Genndy makes a luke warm ending to one of his shows I'd expect that to be the end of it. Still, cool that we're getting this. Let's hope it's more Season 1 than Season 2.

Like I told you last time: the ending is beautiful.

Other than that dumb episode in the 1800s, Season 2 I found just as great as Season 1.

Thanks for the trailer.

Spear dying in fire and Mira and Fang and her young going on together, sure. Spear and Mira having a child together ...eh, sure. But Mira boning a charred Spear just for the sake of offspring is silly and cheap. It could've also been avoided by just having them shack up earlier when he wasn't in utter all encompassing pain. And it goes against what the show was about at that point; that eventhough Spear and Fang lost their children they still have a life to live and happiness to find. I was okay with Fang getting a second chance, but doing the same with Spear and having it be the very last thing he does before he dies implies that children are your ultimate goal for your life to truly mean something. And I'm just not a fan of that.

And after what Genndy did with the final season of Samurai Jack, it was just 'Ah God, this again'.

Still better makes more sense than the samurai jack ending. I just tell people to play the video game or watch the cutscene that gives a better version of that ending and Ashi lives. Even the dude is pretty much admitting he screwed up on that. I've been moved on from it. Then, again, I wasn't that upset about it to begin with. The goal was to get jack home, and that was it.

I didn't know MTV still existed. I thought it died like 10 years ago, since it hasn't been relevant in two decades now. Pouring one out for nostalgia's sake.
