I wasn't big into them myself, but lots of my friends were back in the late 90s early 00s, and Limp Bizikit is where I got my username from in a roundabout way. And people talk a lot about Wes Borland being an underrated talent, but Sam Rivers was no slouch either. His bass lines remain interesting and fun to play.
As one music reviewer/analyst I watch sometimes under the name of Todd in the Shadows put it, people praise Wes Borland for good reason, but most people's first exposure to LB was Sam Rivers' bass line on "Nookie".RIP. If you mean the intro to Nookie, then no, that starts with Wes Borland on a 4 string guitar with the lowest two strings tuned an octave down. Sam doesn't join until 4 bars in, with the rest of the band. Tho the Nookie bass line is a fun one, especially the extended live outro. I also quite enjoy the bass lines of My Way, Boiler, Counterfeit, The Truth, Nobody Like You, Everything, Full Nelson and, of course, Re-Arranged.
Fuck TMZ. They've never said anything relevant since they first started. Them moving to AI doesn't surprise me and the slightest and it's very disrespectful.
