Get a Glimpse at BioWare's New Project

I remember a news article where Bioware was looking for people to work on a kind of 'Mass Effect multiplayer'. I'm guessing its an independent multiplayer Mass Effect game, possibly set during the First Contact War between us and the Turians.

I'm not watching the VGAs to figure it out though, those awards are just embarassing.

I have to disagree completely. Mass Effect 2 was better than ever in gameplay, presentation and story.

Agreed, I saw the new gameplay as streamline rather then simplified, I thought it worked really well. Voice acting was top notch too, and the characterization of your companions was spot on. When Legion asks "How did we get so different? What did we do wrong?" there is just a HINT of emotion, making you really wonder what the geth are really thinking, I thought that little bits like that were brilliantly immersive.

Pretty sure its Mass Effect 3. The rifle and armor don't look too much off from some kind of armor and weapon you'd fine in Mass Effect. Could be on any planet too.

Maybe it's a shooter set in the Mass Effect universe.

That could work out in multiple ways...

In all honesty, I hope it isn't ME3, but that it still is a Mass Effect game. A prequel or a game that takes place within the universe that isn't necessarily Shepard's story would be awesome to see. I love the universe, and I'd love to see more of it. Not only that, but I don't mind waiting for ME3. Prolong it for a good but reasonale time, Bioware. End that baby with bang.

It's definitely Mass Effect related if not Mass Effect 3 itself. That sniper rifle pretty much confirms it.

Mass effect 3 is my most anticipated game until its released no matter the year.

My main gripe with dragons age is the random crashes that took place literally every 5 mins from start to finish. If it wasn't for the quick save feature the game would be unplayable.

The trailer doesn't say much about the new game outside of the fact that there is a new game ;(

Looks kind of generic at first glance, apart from what appears to be very good CGI.

But it's the fact that it's BioWare that changes things- and I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt.

I have no doubt over that this will be Mass Effect 3, as the weapon held by the man looks identical to a M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle. I would also bet on that the man is infact Shepard, face torn and probably aged. The outline of hair on his forehead looks precisely like the one he has had throughout the serie.

If grasslands & swords are involved I'm in, if it's guns in space I'm out. Well it's not the guns I mind, I just can't take all the grey & brown.

There's something just wrong about a video not being available for everyone. There wasn;t even any sex, violence, drinking, or drug use in that video.
