Ok, here's what we're gonna do. No more of this "you da man" bullshit. We're going to give you confidence based on knowing what the hell you're doing.
Step 1: Texting is for quick messages, like "I'm outside ready to pick you up." Using it to ask her out leads to the problem that she'll think it's a friendly get together after work. When it's not, it's a date. Not too late though, you're still fine.
Step 2: Place. Movie and/or dinner. Those are your options. Anything else is too friendly. Girl can't miss out on that hint. Its traditional and simple and nobody is really going to say no. My vote would be dinner because then you have conversation, which is the key.
Step 3: Conversation. Be interesting. That's easy, talk about things that interest you, because that means you're enthusiastic. If she isn't interested, she isn't the right girl. Don't try to be something you're not.


And there you go, successful date with 3 rules. So easy, a middle schooler can do it. So you should have no problems (unless you're a middle schooler).
