We all had those rough times at some point where we were picked on. I just wondered how many of us were picked on regularly. I can say I was picked on regularly till I joined the lacrosseteam and I made friends with some USA hockey players.
Can't say I've ever been properly picked on, I've been taunted and provoked but not really picked on specifically. I don't think I'd have been much of a pleasure for bullies though, I'd get the shit kicked out of me but I'm certain I'd put up a fight. Do you have a specific problem or something that evoked this thread? In any case I think most bullies can tell (after learning) that sometimes its just not worth it, maybe if you put up some sort of a fight, maybe just through confrontation. In any case I've always found bullies to just be idiots trying to be victimisers instead of victims. Most likely from an abusive home/lifestyle, they feel the need to make themselves feel powerful or in control. If its any consolation, the shift that occurred in the world values intelligence far more then physical superiority, though there's nothing wrong with managing both.

Ah I remember the only time someone tried to seriously bully me...it didn't last. He taunted, I viciously taunted him, he swung, I dodged, and swung. My fist connected I won.

I got picked on a lot for being English when I was younger.
Serves me right for joining a Gaelscoil, I guess.

Yeah, for all of primary school and the first few years of secondary school.
We've all matured now, and they realise people come in different shapes and sizes so pointing that out is pointless.

My boyfriend picks on me ): and my best friend. when they're together, it's bully Emilee day

I was picked on through year 2 to my final year of high school. First about my name and my dad (Apparently, because I was such a horrible person, my dad wasn't killed, he killed himself. That was told to me by bullies when I was like 6-7 years old) and then about how unpopular I was and how dumb I was.

I told them I wasn't a slut who spent most of my time on my back or in an alley turning tricks (which one of the girls actually did in year 12)

My best friend didnt want to be my friend anymore, so she decided to bully me. For 3 years she made my life hell. Now she sucks up to me, I will never forgive her.
First she is your best friend, bully, and now goes around to being a suck up. How did that happen?

*On Topic* I was teased from K-12 and after I started college this year everyone seems to be more mature. Granted I don't see anyone from high school but that isn't really a bad thing.

I remember that I was but now looking back on it, I don't care in the slightest. I just see it as kids being kids and I was strong enough as a person to not care and move on through it. So yeah, but I don't mind in the slightest now, too far in the past to concern me.

I was made fun of constantly when I was younger, mostly for being fat and smart. I was called Uncle Fester because of my very short hair cut. I lost over 50 lbs and added over 30 of muscle, took up an almost obsessive interest in military history (a freshman who can tell the difference between an M-16A1 and an M-16A2 by silhouette is apparently scary to some people), and became a black belt (in a real martial art, not some McDojo). Now I'm told I look like Jason Statham and am feared by almost everyone.

I was bullied all the time until I got home schooled.

As I posted on a thread before; A group of kids who constantly beat me up, humiliated me and taunted me never got in trouble for doing so because they were the star quarter backs in the school's football team and you can't stay on the team if you get suspended or whatever, so they let them keep doing it even when I kindly went to the office and told the principal. I even told them (as a warning, not a threat) that if they wouldn't do anything and he kept on, I'd do something about it. They didn't take me seriously.

Next time I saw him, he kept fucking with me and I did something about it.

The leader or whatever of the football team was drinking from one of the water fountains that have the metal part. I grabbed him by the back of the head and slammed his teeth right into the metal. I'm pretty sure he lost at least 4 of his teeth. I was expelled, but it was worth it.

I used to get picked on in my old school for being chinese.

I ended up breaking someone's nose with a hockey stick.

But now I'm in a better school.

Ha, my life was ruined thanks to bullies. Never physical after i left middleschool only mentally. Name calling, things stolen, mates turning their back... No wonder my grades dropped dramatically.
Then i got bullied by the teacher in 6th for because she seemed to think it was all my fault that my grades fell so she believed i was not up to 6th form. I have already proved her wrong. I left 6th form and am not happy studying level 3 Games Development at college instead. Stupid cow she was.

I remember there was this one douchebag at my school (still is), that picked on a lot of people, but me more than most. I was a small kid, and smart, but socially inept. Well that sort of changed. I never confronted him or anything, but when years 11 and 12 rolled around, all those cliques sort of just disappeared, and everyone was friendly with each other. He didn't bully anyone after that, but he is still a douche. Ironically his 'popular' group is the least liked group in the school, and with the least friends. Funny. But now I'm socially adept, talk to pretty girls, am not a scrawny little kid, and I'm still smart. So that's nice for me, I guess.

Me and my friends used to pick on each other all the time, depending on who had done the most recent stupid thing. Obviously for some people this was more regular than others.

Nothings changed, and wouldn't have it any other way. If I do something stupid, I want it drilled into my head so it doesn't happen again. (It does happen again though...)

Can't go through life without being bullied, you'll be a total pansy. Or be used to being strange with no one telling you that you're weird, not good to think somethings normal when it defiantly isn't.
