Eh, I get up at 6:30 for college but I don't complain, I don't think early is anything past 5am, I used to get up then deliberately to get in some cheeky gaming but now I just stay up later instead.

Oh yeah? Well I go to bed at 10.45pm and get up at 11pm for a 9am start (it takes that long to walk to work ;~;). The worst part is that I don't finish until 10pm, but I get a ride from a friend so I can make it back in time to get my 15 minutes sleep each night.

The earliest I ever have to get up is around 6AM if I have a 7AM start.

It's not so bad really, I set my alarm on my phone and leave it at the other side of the room. I'm out of my bed by the time I even realise what's going on.

After a cup of tea i'm usually good to go.

I hate getting up at 9:00 AM on Sundays. I have to be up that early to get ready and get to my job by 10:00 AM. The main reason I hate it is because I have a hard time falling asleep at night.

Well, I'm on "holidays" (studying for exams) and I've been staying home, so I can at least wake up at a reasonable hour. When classes start though, I'm gonna have to wake up at 7:30 a lot more times. What pisses me off is that on Wednesdays I have to wake up early to go to just one class.

I actually prefer getting up early. Waking up after 11am makes me feel like I already slept the day away. I prefer morning lectures over evening lectures because it leaves the rest of the day free once they're complete, and it allows me to actually find parking (which is a big deal when the college I go to has 55,000 students, ~1,000 faculty and staff members, and only ~18,000 parking spots). The only days I sleep in are on the weekends and on holidays, but usually after I wake myself up at 6am to keep my routine.

So no, I don't hate getting up early. Sometimes it sucks, but usually that's my fault for trying to go against my schedule.

I get up at 4.00 for my son's feed, then up at 6.30 to get my daughter out of her cot. Then I have a coffee and spend some time with her until I shower at the last minute and leave ten minutes late at 8.00. I've gotten used to it.

A little something from Desmond Dekker to put a little bounce in your early morning steps.

But I overslept and got up at half past 11.

Damn.

This topic came on a good day!

I was up at 6am this morning to prepare for my national Test. The wind was cruel!

For anyone who cares.. I think I passed it =)

Now that I go to bed at about 2 AM, I get maybe four hours of sleep a day. I need to set my alarm to go off about ten different times to make sure I don't fall back to sleep for another three hours.
