Name: Eric Davidson(I'm using this name alot lately...)

Age: 20

Nationality: Eastern USA

Appearance: Blue eyes, regulation length black hair, white skin, minor tan, average height(5'8" or so, I'm not good with height and weight.), lean, decent muscles, shaven face.

Personality: Hates his "job", hates drugs, hates Faroi, however he thinks the FFH are too radical, he is distant from his fellow Ghosts, and insists on making enemy deaths as quick and painless as possible. He often attempts to formulate escape plans in his head,

Speciality: Stealth and Recon

Bio/History: Grew up normally, and worked out often. Made his opinions of Faroi clear, often. One day at university, he was forcibly drafted by the W.I.O, and made to serve in Ghost Squad despite his protests.

How is this?

It's good :) it will be more interesting with a bit of conflict between players. After I get Lost In The Voids sheet I'll probably get started :)

is there anything wrong with my character?
Nope, I just moved you to get a bit of diversity in the squads since we have a few English in them.

I just want to ask (remember this is my first RP), are these things usually written in the past or present tense?

personally i always go for past tense. :) Cuz i like to think of these RP's like a story in the making, but you're a part of it :D It's way cooler than just thinking of it as a game.

I disagree, I feel like the present tense in an RP makes it feel more like an experience you are going through at that moment, thus reinforcing the whole fact that it IS an RP and we, the characters are experiencing it. I do, however, see merit in your point.

And i in yours :).... but i still think it's kinda cool to do it in a past tense. And also, if everyone does past tense, you could copy paste the forum when its got like 20+ pages into a word file, just cutting all the OOC's out, and you´d have a book ^^ I do see a good point in the present tense, but im sticking with the past tense, sort of grows on ya after you've done over 20 RP's with it ^^

Fair enough. We'll both stick to our opinions. And who says the internet is uncivilized?

Wondering if I could right a short story that will contain some history of this world you've envisioned. Would you like me to PM it to you first?

Name: Chris Falke
Age: 26
Nationality: German (by way of California)
Meaning he was born in Germany but raised in California
Appearance: This brunet usually shaves his head daily, which further accents the scar running from his right eyebrow over his forehead and into his hair line. His grey eyes are cold and piercing like a hawks. He stands at 5'11'', 185 with a muscular frame like a fighters. He has a Tattoo of the Bavarian crest on his right peck, and a united states marine core tattoo on his right forearm.

Personality: Sgt. Falke is mostly aloof, but has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor. Behind the scope of his sniper rifle he is a god. Mouthing words of triumph after each successful shot.

Speciality: Sniper, prefers his old M4a-01, but is just as good with the Barretta and new M4A-03.

Bio/History: Having grown up in the area later named The "Forsaken Zone", Chris learned to snipe on his own in a blown out building in Los Angeles. His target where the F.F.H., and other rebel factions. Seeing no life in his one man sniper show, he decieded to join the Marines and go through Sniper/recon school. He did phenomenal and graduated at the top of his class, and was rewarded by being sent into a few hotspots through out the Forsaken Zone. Him and his spotter made up a team the others refered to as A.O.D. (angels of Death) and racked up medals and kills through out his six years of honorary service in the U.S.M.C. He would have been an officer, but since he lacked formal schooling, and refused to go threw O.C.S., all he could accomplish was his rank of First Sergeant.

After signing an allways on call agreement, and going into tentative retirement, he received a call from the Joint Chiefs to join a task force called Ghost, to try and rid the world of the F.F.H. terrorists.
