How is this?
Nope, I just moved you to get a bit of diversity in the squads since we have a few English in them.ljd184 said:is there anything wrong with my character?
Whichever works for you.Mezzamine said:I just want to ask (remember this is my first RP), are these things usually written in the past or present tense?
Hmm. Alright, thanks.Debatra said:Whichever works for you.Mezzamine said:I just want to ask (remember this is my first RP), are these things usually written in the past or present tense?
I disagree, I feel like the present tense in an RP makes it feel more like an experience you are going through at that moment, thus reinforcing the whole fact that it IS an RP and we, the characters are experiencing it. I do, however, see merit in your point.iceland said:personally i always go for past tense.Cuz i like to think of these RP's like a story in the making, but you're a part of it
It's way cooler than just thinking of it as a game.

Fair enough. We'll both stick to our opinions. And who says the internet is uncivilized?iceland said:And i in yoursXenthenK said:I disagree, I feel like the present tense in an RP makes it feel more like an experience you are going through at that moment, thus reinforcing the whole fact that it IS an RP and we, the characters are experiencing it. .... but i still think it's kinda cool to do it in a past tense. And also, if everyone does past tense, you could copy paste the forum when its got like 20+ pages into a word file, just cutting all the OOC's out, and you´d have a book ^^ I do see a good point in the present tense, but im sticking with the past tense, sort of grows on ya after you've done over 20 RP's with it ^^
