He grinned and buckled himself in.

"Best get ready mate, looks like we're about to get rolling. Good luck, and to the rest of Indigo as well. See you guys on the ground."

Myles closed his eyes, fingered his necklace, and looked at his revolver. "He's a lucky bastard, Winston." He looked back up at Jason, eyes still closed, and smirked a little too widely. "After all, it's a good day to die."

 

[Time Travelling Toaster]

Everyone on for the flight? asks the pilot, if so, please return all trays to their upright position, fasten your belts and get ready for a 6 hour flight to Madagascar. he says brightly as he begins to roll the jet into the runway.

Vase laughed as he looked around all of them masked faces sitting on the plane, everyone was doing their rituals for the flight. Vase joined in by saying one of his own prayers as the jet engines began to rev.

As the engines revved, Damien stared out of the window, his lips moving silently, possibly mouthing the words of a prayer, or simply some self-calming words.
The plane began to roll along the runway. As it built up speed, the noise from the engines grew louder and louder. The sound inside the plane made it impossible to hear anything except the roar.
The plane reached the end of the runway and took off, the force of the acceleration pushing everyone back into their seats. Damien closed his eyes and tilted his head back, continuing to mouth silently.

Jason leaned back into his 'seat', feeling the vibrations of the engines shake his spine.

Christ I forgot how powerful these things are...

He took a few deep breaths and looked around him. To his side it looked like Vase was muttering a prayer, while Myles was fidgeting with his necklace with an uncomfortable looking grin on his face. Jason gave a faint smile and ran through a list of his equipment in his mind, calming his nerves. Putting his hand to his ear, he contacted the pilot through his throat mic.

"How long will this flight take Captain?"

Static hissed in his ear momentarily, then the pilot's voice crackled through.

"Flight time is approximately six hours thirty minutes sir, our ETA at the drop zone is 2030 hours."

I sorta made the assumption that we were flying from a base in Israel or Iraq, somewhere the WIO has a lot fo influence in the Mid-East, just to cut down on flight time. Hope that's ok, I can edit if not

Myles looked away from Jason and turned his attention to Damien, saying "You're either really brave or really stupid, Damien." He readjusted, leaning towards Damien. "Either way, I respect what you do. Good luck, Damien."

Yeah, when we drop him off at his starting point. We drop him off at the river. That's when he goes in by boat. We come in from the East and West, 6k out, giving him time for recon

Jason gradually felt the g-forces lessen as the Hercules completed it's ascent and levelled out, soon reaching it's cruising speed of 336mph. Reaching down, he unclipped himself and stood up, stretching out his muscles.

"Anyone got a way to kill 6 and a half hours?", he asked.

Eric sat in the plane, geared up and shaking like crazy. This was his first HALO jump.

"You'll be fine Eric, just calm down. You're just jumping out of a plane...really high up..."

Jason suddenly asked a question, breaking Eric out of his trance.

"What? Oh...um, ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall..."

He's doing his jump into the ocean with an inflatable raft and small motor, hence why he's on the jet just now with us.

Myles unclipped, and leaned back. "Well Jason," he said producing a deck of cards from a pouch on his jacket, "there's always a card game." With this he began shuffling the deck, not breaking his gaze with Jason.

Not quite, if the mission becomes tough, then we'll call for reinforcements, that's when you come in, so for this mission you'll be based in Mozambique with ljd184 for a while.

"I'll jump in on that game as well," says Vase over the mike as he looks at Myles.
