Skimmed through it. What's the point of playing as a woman if she animates, dresses and acts just like a man? This was an opportunity to fundamentally change the game. These people are so boring.
Spoken like a true sexist grifter, pawn of the anti woke grifters. That is some real big sexism. Congrats on being a man's man. It's only boring because you have shit taste and don't know what you want. Sucker Punch don't need nor want your sorry ass nor do it the actual real fans of this game.

If you want females to move "femininely", when fighting then I suggest you start playing a Musou/Warriors game. Then again not all the female fighters do that either. You would know if you actually played any of these games. Cherry Hunter nor Estel walk/move femininely either. So you are definitely having your head up your own ass and getting high off of your own farts.
Yeah man, what's the point of this if it doesn't animate female? /s

I really wish Makoto was put into the season of street fighter 6. I would take her over Ingrid any day of the week. Marisa lacks majorly feminine movements too. And plenty of people find that empowering or sexy on its own terms. Especially someone like Kinkymation, who is bi.

We can add Maki to the list too. The closest she gets to feminine movements when she's doing her ninja run, but even that has a more masculine movement than someone like Karin or Manon. Rainbow Mika talks in a semi masculine tone when listening to the japanese version. None of her movements are feminine either.

You fail once again at everything, @Ezekiel. Congrats on such a major accomplishment. Striving to be worse than what you were before. I am sure you're proud of such misery.

Armor piercing question here Zeke boy: why do you even care? You made it clear in the past. You work gonna play the first game at all, and you didn't give a damn about Jin Sakai. Had this game been with him again or a different male protagonist, you would have to said the same not playing this game and then moved on. And you're only on this games case, because it happens, I have a female lead or the people behind it are pro LGBTQ and want to treat people aroun, like actual humans and not just soulless monsters and bad stereotypes. The game ain't your face with this stuff, you did that to yourself. You've wanted to be in your face so you can justify hating it or whoever else by extension. It's really sad and pathetic. I am being serious here. You can do whatever you want, but this game's already gonna do great, and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

Don't like it? Don't play it. If ignore the game like you ignore the last one and just play whatever else makes your miserable hide somewhat joyful in the miniscule way you can rarely ever find it.

BrawlMan out!

Somebody told me that they had to make Atsu like this because women in Feudal Japan were subservient and/or submissive. My response:

You think that in all of Feudal Japan there were not poor and desperate women who killed to survive? Women who assassinated for men, using their womanliness to access places men would look suspicious in and to make their targets lower their guards and to gain their trust? We don't want to play as a tool the whole time, but was it not possible for one of these feminine killers to go her own way or refuse a job and become a target of her masters for it? Sounds like a more interesting and believable game to me. If I'm going to play a photorealistic historical game, I want it to feel authentic. She can pretend to be subservient and/or submissive. Atsu is preposterous.

Won't respond to BrawlMan, however, because he's a barking dog with no bite, only insulting in pretty shallow posts and then ignoring the response and ending every following post with, "I'm done with this conversation." Like I said before, he's Eric Cartman. "Screw you guys. I'm going home." A bit rich seeing him tell the other guy, shortly before he put me on Ignore, "You don't have to leave. I've been done with this conversation already," when he started these fights every single time. More like BawlMan.

So in other words: you with the sexism, but don't want to admit it and following the words of every anti woke grifter ever. Glad we can understand each other. You still didn't answer my question: why do you care this much, since you didn't care about the last game, and made it clear only the first time around with nothing else added. Unless you secretly did care, but didn't want to admit it for whatever insecure and pathetic reason.

I got plenty of bite. I call out bull when I see it. It's not my fault. You can't handle the truth and always have to make crap up or divert to something that has nothing to do with anything. You left more than enough evidence of that already on this thread and several others.

I'm playing this game day one and i'm going to enjoy the hell out of it. If you or any of those people you follow have such a big problem with it, then you can (fake) cry and hug each other for all I care. None of you will even be on my mind when I'm playing this game or a majority of others. Because it's actually called living and enjoying life.

Atsu is preposterous.
Only to a person like you who will follow the grifter's whims nearly every time. Everything else you said beforehand there's nothing but hot air and a glorified "it's not realistic!" excuse. It's a historical fiction video game that is a sequel to previous historical fiction video game. They're not aiming for one thousand percent realism. Never was the goal to begin with, ad how you missed that does not surprise me. It's because you live in your own little constant bubble. Expecting everything to be your way or the highway.

"I'm right and see no reason to stop. The decline of games is real. At least I talk about the games instead of just complaining about the complainer. The problem is you."

I believe that is the response I will now use when people complain about my "negativity." I've been way too passive, which just emboldens them to be bigger assholes.

When I get a response such as, "Then don't play it," I can say something like, "Why would I not talk shit about a game that looks embarrassing and lame? I don't get you."

Didn't stop this bunch, of course.

Person 1:

While women weren't typically the head of a daimyo clan, there are documented cases of women taking on leadership roles, including serving as heads of warrior houses and even leading armies. For example, Ii Naotora and Tachibana Ginchiyo are known examples of women who became daimyo during Japan's Sengoku period. Hōjō Masako, though not a daimyo in the traditional sense, effectively ruled the Kamakura Shogunate as a regent.

Ghost of Yeti takes place in 1603, so while this is possible The Sengoku period (1467-1615) saw significant social upheaval, which sometimes allowed women to step into leadership roles.

Examples of Female Daimyo:
Ii Naotora: She became the head of the Ii clan in the mid-16th century, initially known as Jiro Houshi, and led the clan during a period of conflict.

Tachibana Ginchiyo: At a young age, she inherited her father's position as castellan and led the Tachibana clan.

Other Forms of Female Leadership:
Hōjō Masako: While not a daimyo, she effectively ruled the Kamakura Shogunate after the death of her husband, Minamoto no Yoritomo, acting as a regent and wielding significant political power.

Onna-musha: Some women from samurai families were trained in martial arts and fought alongside men, sometimes even leading forces, particularly in castle defenses or during times of male absence.

Not Common, but Documented:
While not the norm, these examples show that women could and did take on leadership roles, even at the level of daimyo or warrior house head, when circumstances allowed.

As we don't know where this storyline will eventually go, it is possible that this would be the full endgame of the storyline.
Person 2:

It looks like you are supporting @Warm Gun's point.
Me:
Yeah, he is. All unique, extenuating circumstances. The men by and large did not want the women in these roles. Wandering around in samurai armor like this would have offended the men and made her stand out everywhere she went, and of course the game won't deal with that, because it's not part of the message. And good luck finding a documented case of one of these women dueling a samurai master (with both of them in full armor) and living. For once, I'd like to fight in one of these games as a woman would. Having to rely more on deception, stealth and agility, sometimes only escaping by biting, kicking the nuts, throwing dirt in the eyes... And certainly using the environment in battle is something action-adventure games could dabble more in.

It's so embarrassing, forced, transparent and lame, and deserves to be ridiculed.
Person 1:

So you've seen 10 minutes of gameplay and you have no idea how much stealth is involved or what point in the game it is but your calling it lazy transparent and lame.

Do not think my last post is agreeing with you I only was showing you had precedence and history on your side that it occasionally did happen in and around this time period.

Its very obtuse of you to assume these things when for all you know it was the tutorial shown, or your character had advanced to a point she could walk around in the open.
Me:

I see her in men's armor dueling samurai like she's in a western, which is enough to call it out even if it has stealth. (Which will be generic and basic as hell again, with the usual automation, because the publisher wants the widest appeal rather than specialization.) "You've only seen fifteen minutes" is the most naive shit I keep reading. It concedes that the other person is partly right at least based on the available information and leaves egg on the speaker's face when the game inevitably confirms it months later. Going by how these clown studios have acted countless times in the past, of course the game won't justify this ridiculous character whenever needed; nor should it, because who would want to see the problem dealt with socially again and again and again every hour? The solution then is to instead write and design her like a woman who could belong in the era and place.

So it's you problem like usual and starting shit. Great to know people have common since to not listen to a lame shit-talker with a warped view of morality and has the dumbest takes and opinions. You hate the game? Then don't play it. Not hard to figure out. I don't constantly fixate on games I hate 24/7. That's a waste of time and life, when there are so much better things to do. Only a pawn of the grifters would go this far to waste everyone's time. Hope it was worth it.

Onto actual important news:

"I believe that is the response I will now use..."

Except for when Cartman BrawlMan speaks, which goes without saying after my previous post. Because he doesn't respond to what opposition (with politics and moral values he doesn't like, for reasons he won't explain, because his are empty) states at all, resorting instead to empty insults and more Lalalalala, even after informing me only a week ago that he put me on Ignore. Completely pointless interactions.

And you still have said absolutely nothing actually meaningful or ramble on to where it doesn't go anywhere. If you hate the game that much, why even bother with the senselessly crying? Your silly behind ain't gonna play it anyway, so why bother complaining? Only the pawn of the grifters would do this. It's all you ever do now.

Sorry, but this is an inane argument to try to make.

Originally you seemed to be arguing that its historically inaccurate for her to be a female Samurai or martially-trained warrior at all. The fact she's not called a Samurai (as far as I can tell), and that martially-trained women did factually exist, is an entirely relevant response to that.

Now you're arguing that her actions aren't typical of such a person at the time. Well no fucking shit, Sherlock, she's the protagonist of a video game. What the player does as Jin Sakai isn't typical of a Samurai either. You want the protagonist of any game to act solely as a typical individual in their position would act? Give me a break.

You're still just moaning because its a woman. Just be honest about that, stop trying to dress it up.

You want it to only be because she's a woman so that you can keep strawmanning. Be honest about that.

There's a big difference between a woman taking her dead father or husband's position in a clan because of circumstances and her people having to accept that and a woman wandering from town to town in samurai armor or, okay, men's clothing with a sword. The strangers she encounters would take issue with it, giving her trouble even where she doesn't want it. It's too much needless attention and therefore historically inaccurate. She's asking for hostility and duels that Tachibana Ginchiyo did not have to participate in and would not have been expected to participate in by her people because she was weaker as a woman.

Good for them. Glad they are getting off on you being miserable.

Look at that. You're being full of shit as usual. Once again, just being another disposable tool for the grifters. How does it feel to be a lap dog for your masters and you're not even getting paid for it? They could not give a rats ass about you. All they want is your attention. Your fears, your hatred, and your pathetic prejudice. All of which you use to justify as "historical accuracy and realism". All you're doing is hiding behind that same sexism and racism, they use making you no different. A true "hero" at a thousand paces.

You're still just moaning because its a woman. Just be honest about that, stop trying to dress it up.
Unfortunately, that's how all these grifters act, and those is that are pawns to the grifters double down even more so, just like their masters. People like him love to goalpos behind behind pathetic excuses, four their racism and sexism or transphobia. Cowards being the shepherds for bigger cowards.

Strangers would have taken issue with how she was acting...? Lol so what? You're playing a video game, as a protagonist in an extreme circumstance (the survivor of a family massacre). You're not role-playing a typical Edo-era woman acting according to typically expected behaviours.

This is a bit like arguing that Jin Sakai or John Wick or Brian Mills or The Bride are terribly inaccurate because people just don't tend to do that sort of thing goshdarnit. Fucking obviously, its an action flick story of vengeance and we're viewing the protagonist.

Complaining that the protagonist isn't acting according to the expected behaviours of a typical member of their class, indeed.

Could have gone straight to the "It's a video game" defense rather arguing about the historical accuracy and then conceding that point, a defense that's thin because of how much they did want it to be authentic. Like story-driven video games don't try to justify their protagonists being killing machines.

You never actually read what I said about trans kids and you still don't know the meaning of phobia. Know that most of the rest of the world does not consider these extreme procedures healthy for children and the difference in America is the profit motive.

And you're still hiding by your bullshit and grifter bullshit, every day.

Other than rebooting, there's really not much more you can do with Infamous. A remaster of the first two games would be nice. Especially since there's really no other way to play these, unless you have a PS3. Second Son I didn't care much for. It felt really unnecessary.
