What should you do?
Nothing. You gave her a good time, were pleasant, polite and respectful (I assume).
If she decides another lad is better looking than you and therefore she will dump you to go out with him then I think you have an insight on her personality and you can count yourself lucky that she has gone out of your life. Move on. If she chooses the other guy because she has a better connection with him then bad luck. Move on. If she decides to stick with you than bear this incident in mind for the future and again, move on, this time together.

How about letting her decide? You can't force her to choose you. Just be yourself with her, and let her decide if she wants to be with you. It's her life too.
Do something completely sporatic, unique, and awesome. Or something daring, like shoplifting something for her that she likes, unless she's a total goody-goody she will love it.

No pity for you right now. I'm in the same situation except it's a lot more complicated and shitty for me. I have pretty much accepted it, said fuck it, and remembered why I'd avoided high school relationships for so long, because of the fucking drama.

I have been in the exact same situation and the similarity are a bit creepy.
But here what i did.
1) you really need to gauge the connection between the two of you is an important step, since if there are some fussy spots that be careful on the next step.
2)Balance what you will gain from what you will lose and don't tell yourself that there is nothing to lose cause there always is.
3)Never Ever rush anything with her and let her make the choses .
For me I did not get the girl, but I did get the best friend a guy could want, we have a special connection that is not love and if not exactly friendship either but is something worth having. Being friends with a really hot and sexy girl/women means that there always a pretty face that smiles and says hello to you and that to me is awesome.
