As much as I hate him, he has the right to say what he wants without having to apologize.
He has the right to insult other peoples intelligence and children on air? I believe a court would say otherwise.
So long as he wasn't threatening someone on air, then they can't do anything about it.
Besides, even if that is the case, an apology makes up for a crime? What is this, kindergarten?

case in point.
What case made which point?
My eariler post stated "No matter where one of these scummy journalists or anyone lies on this crazy roller coaster called American politics, they think they are so right that if someone disagrees, they are stupid and need to be expunged."

JanatUrlich said: Why is he not dead yet? Make it happen.

That point sir.

He's human like the rest of us, too bad the current political/celebrity atmosphere has zero room for forgiveness. Seems these days if a political figure makes one oops it is the end of thier career because hatred runs so deep in politics these days. I am indifferent on the guy, I've heard him talk penty; agreed with him and times and dissagreed at others. As I see it he is just another person speaking thier mind. He can be controvertial, but at least he isnt as venomous as some (I wont list my examples at mind because I dont want to contribute to the atmosphere of hate in politics today).

In contradiction to what some may think, I DONT think he should be shut up, any more than someone on the opposite end of the spectrum (like Michael Moore) should be. America is more center than most sources would have you think, and it stays there because boths sides are occationally right and the occational extreams are a good reminder that the middle is where we should stay. Just wish people wouldnt treat people with opposite viewpoints as if they are all evil.

Media Matters is not a reliable source. I don't support/like Beck or Obama, but Media Matters are outright liars. But apparently he did apologize for that. Personally, if i was a media host of some sort I would never apologize for anything. At least beck never suggested that we arrest Dick Cheney and put him in stockades for public amusement like rachel maddow on msnbc. That is straight up demeaning and violent. No matter where one of these scummy journalists lie on this crazy roller coaster called American politics, odds are they think they are so right that if someone disagrees, they are stupid and need to be expunged. Know what I'd like to see? More libertarian viewpoints; Like Stossel on Fox Business.
Yeah what this two said, Alot of you seem to only hate Gleen because its cool. Just because you disagree with someone with a different view doesn't mean you have to ostracized them just disagree with them logical.

Actually no, I do not like glenn beck because I actually took the time to watch his show. I wholeheartedly disagree with him. He believes that Obama is actively trying to change us, I think Obama(and Beck a a consuqence)is extremely misguided.

Indeed. I remember when he pulled out a big chalkboard and just destroyed his argument a while ago. I could not stop laughing.

You are bothering to argue with someone who said:
"Just because you disagree with someone with a different view doesn't mean you have to ostracized them just disagree with them logical"?

Dude, let it go, they don't know any better.

I'm not from America but from my limited understanding of USA's political-media scene this guy is quite the propaganda guy . Here where I live we usually ignore these guys , why can't you guys do the same? It's pretty clear the guy is nuts after seeing some of his videos on youtube as a non-american .
His ratings seem pretty high while I searched and it's to my understanding that high ratings= a lot of people like him . So , if he's so disliked , why do so many people actually watch the show? Sorry for being off topic , but , not being from USA , I really can't understand the "Glenn Beck " thing .

I was agreeing with you and my post was not directed at you but at all other people who just wished death at the man and left it at that. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

So he insulted a little girl and apologize. Or at least should cause insulting someone for no good reason is ungentleman like. And that's about it. What is all this other stuff people are talking about? Mountains out of molehills much?

Glenn Beck is many things, like a Libertarian in Republican clothing, and a phony (mostly for what I just said). And now I guess we can add "Hypocrite" to that list as if we couldn't add it already. But at least he apologizes, that totally makes it better, right? Not really, but again, at least he apologized, unlike Rush Limbaugh who referred to Chelsea Clinton as "The White House Dog".
