Reading the title it sounded like some kind of abstinence thing. :D Seriously though: not drinking in July? The summer holidays are the PRIME drinking days. Not sure I'd be able to resist a cold beer on a terrace in the sun in July even if it would literally cure cancer. You can only expect so much from me Australia!
Except July is in the middle of winter.

OT: Bugger that, I'd rather get drunk. And I donate to other charities.
Hah! That's so weird, I totally forgot about that other hemisphere thing XD On the upside you guys have the best damn weather during christmas and new year's eve.

I thought she meant all fluids! Phew, just the booze.

Being 16, I can do this, shame I'm in England.

Calumon: If your dry, then have a bath. I don't want to see someone with crusty skin! >.<
Don't forget the lotion!

I don't drink anyway, so I'm fine with continuing that tradition for all of July.

I think this is a good idea. I don't drink, but I don't have a problem with drinking either, though I think that no one should have a problem taking a month off and putting their beer money towards cancer research.

But, it's a charity. No one's going to hound you if you don't.

if July is in the middle of winter do you get it off because up here in Canada the school kids get it off along with august.

Our school years are typically divided into 4 quarters (terms). First term starts in early February, and term 4 ends in early December. We then get short breaks between each term, of about 2-3 weeks. So the gap between terms 2 and 3 is halfway through the year.

Eh....July in the USA = July 4th which means large amounts of beer, fire, and small explosives. Take any one of those elements out and the rest just aren't worth doing.

No way I'm giving that up. Plus drinking booze makes the people around me more interesting.

I certainly wasn't thinking of alcohol, and hell no am I not drinking for a month. I feel like I don't want to now but it's Monday and that's normal.
