I knew someone who went outside once... Now he has post traumatic stress disorder and the sound of birds makes him burst into tears.

I cannot! As I live in Australia, venturing outdoors means certain death! Everyone here knows that. I'm taking too many risks just typing this! (damn Keyboard Spiders...)

Why go outside when I can watch people on YouTube play outside for me?

Anyways, obligatory unfunny comment out of the way, I was just outside not to long ago playing with my dog.

Fuck that! It's currently minus 7 degrees centigrade outside, and there is 5 centimetres of snow.

I like not having hypothermia, if that's all the same to you.

Reminds me of a segment from my childhood.

It is January, three inches of snow on the ground and I am sitting in the living room playing with my Barbie in my pajamas

Dad: Go play outside

Me: No, I can't play with Barbie outside

Dad;*Picks me up and throws me out of the window*

Mam: She doesn't have any shoes

Dad: *Throws shoes out of window*

Ahh those were the days

Pssh. I was outside mixing cement for 9 hours today. I literally moved over a ton of it. I'm drinking this beer, demolishing this pizza, and staying the hell inside, in my comfy chair, with my feet propped up. Nuts to that.

I leave the computer to go for photowalks and to get drunk. Both things happen very often.

I have a very physically demanding job. I like to spend my free time moving as little as possible to compensate.

Dude, i have the Jim Sterling disease. Do you realize the repercussions if I even step out the front door? Last time I tried to go out...I thought i was on the moon...losing air! Yeah NO THANK YOU!
I tried googling this, but i couldn't find anything. What is that? is it a reference to something, or is it a real disease?

Why the hell would I want to go outside into the cold just to get annoyed by chavs when I can have much more fun playing video games with friends online?
Have you found your handheld to be a chav magnet? Or do you just happen to live in an area with a high chav density?
High chav density, there are many of them. Not real chavs I suppose but people who are trying to be them. They are really damn annoying.
I feel your pain. Although the Netherlands do not have chavs in the UK sense, in the four major cities we have youngsters trying to walk, talk and look "gangsta". Equally annoying, also considering the fact I happen to live in one of those four cities.

Sorry I'm to old to play outside anymore and besides playing outside just isn't safe anymore. When I was a kid in the 90's the only thing we had to worry about was getting deep cuts and being inside before the street lamps turned on. Nowadays there seems to be more freaks and weirdos wondering the streets than before.

Actually, i'm pretty sure i saw Ice Troll hiding in some backalley.
It's a jungle out there...
Frozen jungle, but jungle nevertheless.

My parents don't on the account that I live in a village where about 70% of the populace is over 50.
I know that feel bro. But they still tell me to do something else though. I just ask them "Like what then?" and they fall silent. It's not like I already read a lot, spend time on school and all that jazz. But that's not enough for them apparently.

Oh, my folks gave up after they noticed my grades since I got a pc were higher than my grades when I could only read and be outside.

I still like a stroll outside, though, but only if there's snow and I'm barefoot.

No one does. I have my own place and my girlfriend is a gamer. Typically I am the one telling her to go outside.
Myself, I love outside, it is just a ***** getting everyone together to do something like football or paintball.

Jim Sterling is the obese guy that does the 'Jimquisition' videos on this site.

OT: I was never really told specifically to 'go play outside' because I was never fat, and that's what you say to fat kids. I did get the occasional 'stop playing that crap and do something productive', 'why don't you go study' and more recently 'stop that nonsense and go get a job'.
