Could be. Im not sure about female orks in 40k. Technically they're a fungus that reproduces via spores and are all single-sex, but they also have sex organs and like get curious about and do stuff to men and women of other species.

Are you sure? Wasn't the reason to make them a fungas to get rid of all of that stuff?
Lore wise yes, but not every author or codex writer follows that. Its weird and one of those "pick your sources/lore interpretation". Sometimes the Orks are genderless, asexual green monkey thems who just live for Waaaggh!!!
Other times in some novels they have genitals, Orks have bathrooms and need to piss, and enslave human and Eldar women to be literal strippers and they hoot and holler and throw teef (money) at them and seem very much aware of female attractiveness and sexuality.
Its mostly narrative inconsistencies, but personally I just assume different planets have different radiation and that affects the spores. Orks have an innate ability to adapt and evolve to fit the environment, and maybe sex organs and sexuality is an adaptation to a specific enemy/warzone/world.

That is so weird. I mean ork motivation shouldn't be much higher then fight'in and scrapp'in and making more dakka and louder engines. I can only assume some writers wanted orks to be more rapey.
Depends how simplistic you like your ork kulture. Sittin on da drops chewin on a particularly tough bit of chewin fungus after a particularly heavy night on the fungus ale and squig curry while kontemplatin da meanin o WAAAAGH! is a great traditional passtime.I would like to direct you to the great volume on ork kulture "WAAAGH the Orks". As Uthan the Perverse would say, we see a culture that is strong, and dismiss it as crude.
At least in most fantasy settings Orcs are very rapey. Maybe when they get new writers and tell them 40k is space fantasy, those traits get translated over.

Not really, seems like that is more common in anime since anime does like to have wandering rapists as cheap ways to show the hero rescuing a damsel. I don't recall that much in western stuff. Orks tend to just be brutal and warlike.
You can get a lot of culture out of just those motivations I listed. Why make the loudest engine unless you are gonna compete to see whos is louda or fasta. Whats the point of all the dakka wif outshowing up that other git who has da mostest dakka. Don't need strip clubs for dat kinda fing.
Watch the videos I posted. The Orcs are actually given personalities, standards, and are of the non-rapey variety. In fact, they usually play straight man or woman to the antics of the elves. Most of the elves are too horny in this comic universe, and it turns a lot of the orcs and goblins off.
I wasn't refering to the strip clubs. More that fighting and building bigger engines and more dakka are not the only motivation. Beer, curry and pooping are also highly valued parts of Ork kulture.

My misc and funny pic folders are quite large. Unfortunately I don't remember the artist who gifted us with put upon orks and thirsty elves, cause there were a bunch of other pics too.
