Agreed.Pallindromemordnillap said:Okay I can sort of see the logic, in that Hades has his family down in the Underworld and such, but given that Hades is just doing his job and it isn't really his fault, that doesn't make much sense. Kratos may be violent, but he's always got actual motives.
I would love it if they kept the doppelganger scene though, that was awesome
Yeah, but I thought that he didn't become a god until he sat on the throne of the late Ares, giving that he could commit suicide directly after killing him. Oh well, I guess it isn't definite science, this god-business.NoMoreSanity said:That would remove all the sympathy for him though!GoldenRaz said:I imagine that they're going to implant the motivation "he's going to Hades to get his family back" or something of the like, but that's just my theory. Either that or they'll make one movie for every god.NoMoreSanity said:Doesn't sound too bad, but wasn't he already in Hades in the first GoW? And in the second? I mean, I wouldn't see his motivation for doing that, Hades hasn't done anything to him I believe.
Oh, and doesn't this "force" them to change the name of the sequel, giving that there will only be an actual "God of War" in the first one?
The second one might be called God of the Underworld?
On that other idea wouldn't Kratos become the God of War, so maybe the idea is that he's taking down the other God's to become the One True God pretty much.
He exploded in transit. It was very sad.... and goopy.Scrythe said:Will the missing squid from Watchmen show up in this movie?

Also, I don't think that works either, since Kratos isn't meant to be simply power-hungry. As said before, he only kills people who have pissed him off and those who get in his way of getting revenge on the former.
He might just have a grudge with the gods as a whole though. And come to think of it, he always did want to bring glory to [HEADING=1]SPARTA!!![/HEADING]
