it's quite simple for me
sometimes her songs are catch and I like them, and somethings I just can't stand them
well okay there are a few that fall in between those two lines but...
whatever, they're best saved for the dance floor haha (cuz then you'll be like, "oh, I know this song. don't like but...but oh well I can dance to it" and that's about it)

I love Lady Gaga! <3 She's got a real talent for "life as art" - completely self invented, and delivers so many messages in her songs you can spend days interpreting them all. Also, her music is fun and catchy, yes - I am rather fond of her.

She writes her own songs, and they sound good. I like her. And I'm a Death Metal fan.

i don't see how making samey music whilst dressing like she just slipped and fell into her wardrobe shows she has a personality.

OT: i only like one of her songs, other than that she is rubbish in my eyes.

Lady Gaga is a rare thing in modern popular music.
A niche original.
I don't think she'd be my choice on any given day where I could listen to what ever I desired; but I don't mind her.
- And everyone must admit she's got wicked style.

You know she doesnt have a personality right...? She is as fake as plastic sh*t, obsessed with being famous and vain as hell.

If anyone thinks Blink 182, Three days Grace, Green Day, etc. is equivalent to metal then hang yourself.

I listen to Lady Gaga. I listen to Metal like Necrophagist, Pantera, Slayer, etc. I also like softer rock but so far only Flyleaf, Paramore, and Skillet.

Sorry for the obvious pun, but I wanted to ask about this.

I listen to rock and metal, ranging from Beatles to the Beatles, but due to a series of circumstances surrounding the volcano, I've been listening to the Beatles...

My parent is stuck in a different country, so I'm taken to school by my sister - who always listens to the radio in the car. Oh! And I can't get a bus because there aren't any buses around my area to take me...but the Beatles are awesome, so I am happy for this

This is the only rock/pop I actually like. Why? because they have a bloody personality! The songs are awesome, catchy, and musically interesting.

Anyone else experienced this strange phenomena? (As in, do you like their music?).

...and yes I may get praise for liking their music, I don't care. :)
fixed to be how it should happen

OT: shame on you for listening to that...well, thing
Man...one day you will learn that there's more to life than the beatles. Yes they are awesome, but open your mind to other artists and you'll be astounded by what you hear.

OT: Yeah....she's alright...
oh, I have others, but I always return to the beatles

The only time I listen to Lady Gaga is when the soundtrack at my work plays it, which is a couple times a day, and even then it is the same song (Just Dance). However, whenever I close, we turn off the music and I get my iHome and we play better music.

About Lady Gaga, I don't... really care. She's weird, and it occasionally good for a lol once in a while, but I don't have a problem with her.

I've never been into pop, because the vast majority is mindless drivel with no substance, but I occasionally hear a song I like.

Only time I listen to Lady Gaga is when someone else is playing it. Don't particularly like her music. It is just stuff I don't listen to, though yeah she is something fresh in the scene which is pretty damn good to see.

I don't hate her, surprisingly. Her songs are insanely catchy. That said, I don't like her by any means, but for something that's popular and completely widespread, I'd rather listen to her than whatever other crap they call "music" that's on the radio.

I think she's repulsive. And not in a good way.

I don't like her personality, so that affects my liking of her music. She justs seems like the type of person I wanted to punch at school.
This. Plus her personality and appearance is the only reason she's such a succes. It's pop music at its best, music at its worst.
Her being 'extravagant' contributed what to her music?

Playing this music around me is grounds for immediate and permanent shunning. Thankfully nobody I know actually likes it.

Except possibly my brother's girlfriend, but she has a really shitty taste in music (while I agree with that assessment, those were actually my brother's words on the topic). I make a point to always have a pair of headphones and some decent mp3s with me if I ever have to ride in her car, otherwise the radio would infect my brain and I would become lame, oh noes!

Why couldn't something decent like trip-hop be popular, at least then I could potentially listen to the radio without cringing. Hate pop so much[footnote]Broadly true, though I do quite like a few things that are either popular or considered to be 'pop', though the music in that latter category tends to be popular somewhere other than America, like say... Delta Goodrem (yay Australia). The mainstream music is dwarfed by my collection of obscure Swedish symphonic prog and the like though.[/footnote].

I never cared for her until I heard that version with Cartman and Christopher Walken. It took me forever to get poker face out of my head.

Her songs are alright, but not my style. However, I can't stand her. I don't mind her music, but Lady Gaga as a person is someone who I just do not lke one bit. from what I've heard of her she's weird and more of a diva than Mariah Carey. And no-one is more of a diva than Mariah Carey. She does not appeal to me one bit. But as I say, her music is okay. Not great, but okay.

SHUN, SHUN.

Nah just kidding, Lady GaGa isn't that bad, people just love to hate. Her songs are catchy, so if you like it then there is no shame.

The artist I find myself liking which surprises me is Kylie Minogue. Yeah I know, weird.
