I find her a mediocre talent at best.
Making it big in the pop genre is like being the best at blowing bubblegum bubbles, who gives a shit?
You want to be adored by teenaged girls who will forget you the moment the next craze hits then good luck.
If she breaks away from that predominatley dance sound she has going maybe I'll drop in for a brief listen to see if theres any substance under the gloss.

I used to be indifferent to Lady Gaga, but over time I've warmed up to her and I can safely say she's one of my favorite musicians today. I'm not even a major fan of music normally, but Lady Gaga has a lot of talent, and I really think she has the potential to be the next Michael Jackson if she plays her cards right. (Her poker cards, that is)

A lot of gamers seem to be quite fond of Gaga from what I've seen; WoW.com commonly links to Gaga music videos depending on the subject matter, and I have a tabletop gamer friend who swears by her. I think it's just the sheer camp-iness of everything she does. It's silly, but you can't help but smile.

What, that's all? That's not nearly enough variety*! You must have a small mp3 player.
Or I just quoted the first 19 tracks to show that liking Pop doesn't mean you don't have any taste.

Also, Philharmonic Orchestra? Either there's actually a band called that (you never know), or you're missing a word like "London" or whatnot - just saying "Philharmonic Orchestra" is rather like referring to The Beatles as "popular band" in terms of specificity.
There's a lot of philharmonic orchestras is my drift.
And I have a few of them on there, but without specifically opening up tabs, I can't denote which particular one did that.

I love the guy on Facebook who started a group entitled something close to "I bet I can get 1 million people who hate Lady Gaga by the end of the year"

A good way to spot musical talent now a days is if you strip away everything that make an "artist" popular so strip away from Gaga her ugly outfits, her crappy beats, and her way to obvious attitude of being unique (which she isn't), is she still a singer and a good one at that, you can find a video of her on youtube singing with just her playing a piano. so if you like her if all her bullshit stripped away then you can like her in the glory of her her crap too

Oh I figured as much, but it was just slightly too long and missing the equivalent of an etc at the end, ergo it looked like you were really listing everything and not just a sampling.

Now though everyone knows what I suspected - knowledge is power!

I'll have to check out some of her lesser-known stuff, I think. Her singles are catchy and have the ingredients for mass appeal, but I just don't think I get it.
