Well, it?s my ?Gone Gonzo? post. I?ve become a regular as well. I just can?t believe how awesome this website has been to me. Aside from all the amazing content that is on this website. I?ve also seen how the Escapist has changed me as a person, besides being a Grammar Nazi. It helps you at least try to care about spelling and grammar. I?ve seen flame-wars from everything to religion to abortion, I remember when we got raided from 4chan. I remember TheNecroswanson and NoMoreSanity. I might not be well known, but I lurk most of the threads here, keeping an eye on our amazing community, I remember when I first joined the escapist on November 11th 2008, almost a year ago. I couldn?t spell, couldn?t use punctuation and used eclipse for everything I said. When I see newcomers to this amazing community, I like to see how we treat them, mostly we just flame them for breaking one of the rules but there?s always someone there to welcome them to the escapist. My first post was ?How to tell if you are a noob? Pretty bad. But this community changed me, in a good way. I?d like to ask the Escapist, what was your first post? What where you like when you joined and how are you now? For the people who have just joined or lurking, what made you join the escapist? I?m 101194 among other thousands of Escapists, coming religiously to the Escapist every day to laugh with this wonderful community.
