While it's not the the end of the series as a whole, I hate the second half of the Digimon movie. The first half is so fucking epic, and then after a balls out crazy scene that would have been a suitable ending it keeps going for a half hour...
I guess this comes down to me hating the second generation of digimon
Tenjou Tenge. Love the anime to death that is why it's in my top 5. But the ending was just awful. They only did the first 2 arcs of the manga leaving the other 3 arcs out...leaving the series at a cliffhanger.
King of Braves GaoGaiGar Final is a bad ending in my opinion.

After destroing the villains of the series (with the biggest hammer I've ever seen),which results in the death of quite a few of the main characters, all the surviving heroes end up trapped in an alternate universe that's collapsing on itself and they barely manage to save to the two Kid Heroes.
With the death of all but 2 main characters it ended the franchise on a rather depressing note which didn't really feel right for me.
How shitty of an ending are we talking about with Inu Yasha exactly? I never stuck around to see how it ends because the series never fucking stopped...
Whenever I try to think of the worst anime ending, the first name that jumps out every time is Berserk. When I think about it heavily there are worse ones, but nothing leaves me quite as unfulfilled as that.
On the other hand as far as "pointless" endings go, Wolf's Rain takes the cake. It trivializes the entire story leading up to it, and...
they murder a cast of like 15 characters one by one over the final three episodes. Total and complete nonsense.
Like most Asian films and anime the endings are notoriously bad. Either the main character(s) dies, there isn't any sort of closure, or it's just stupid. It's harder to pick a single good ending than it is to randomly spout off ten bad ones, it's that messed up.
But then again for every person that despises an ending I'm sure there's another person out there that liked it to loved it.
Are you kidding? That last battle with Pain was amazing. Or are you still stuck on the English dub? While I feel the English dub is better for FMA, the Japanse dub with English sub is better for Naruto, and they are much further along.
