ICE STATION by Matthew Riley

I promise you will love it. it is non-stop (well written) action and has a fantastic plot

I disagree on all three counts, but i realize deabte is futile.

My suggestion? As always, Terry Pratchett. No, its not action, but ill recommend it all the same.

On second thought, get your hands on the 'Horus Heresy' series by the Black Library.

It's been said before (because that's how good they are) but anything by Terry Pratchett.

Also look up Ciaphas Cain: Hero of The Imperium, good collection of books at a very reasonable price.

The best book i've ever read is one called "how to survive a Horror Movie".

Also a Picture book called "the meaning of life" it is actually quite adult; not explicit but intelligent.

Black Man (13 in the US for obvious reasons) by Richard Morgan, actually Altered Carbon by the same guy is just as good.

Speaking of books, I've got Cliver Barker's "Mister B. Gone" by Clive Barker, like Jericho, only its kind of from a Demonic Spawn Child's perspective.

Mister B.Gone was nowhere near Barker's usual work.

At the moment I'm reading 'the better mousetrap' by Tom Holt, he's talented but turning out to be a bit of a one trick pony.

I just read a comic series called 'Ex Machina' and it's one of the best I've ever read.

Plot - It's about this squad of marines who have to investigate and defend this Research station in Antartica after the station discovers 'something made of metal and sends out a distress call. The marines get their first, but station is soon attacked by French and sas. (it's not sci-fi).in fact anything by Mathew Reily is awesome, except temple...stay away from temple)

QFT. Although I didn't mind Temple. He's actually my favourite author.

Calling him 'not sci-fi' is just slightly stretching the definition though...

Noughts and Crosses, by Malorie Blackman. A sensationally good series, and the first one's the best book I've ever read- I literally could not put it down. It's fairly controverisal, to say the least, but if you can see past the layer that idiots get stuck on then it's most certainly worth it.

Velocity is great. He's very much a 'King' sort of person though. Horrible situations in normal lives.
