You may also wish to try the following:
The Orange Box. 5 4 great games in one. Beat that! Portal's the weak link, imo. Being a good game, but with no replay value.
This is the best gaming deal you will probably find on Xbox. Almost three complete games and Portal, for only $20 Canadian!(not sure what that is in Euros)
It's just 2 games, half-life 2, more half-life 2, dear god more of this same game, and portal which is good.

To summarize The Orange Box, personal playthrough time for each game:

Half-Life 2: 10-12 hours
HL2 Episode 1: 4 hours
HL2 Episode 2: 8 hours
Portal: 2 hours
Team Fortress 2: INFINITE, even on consoles, that game is great

Man, I use Pounds, not Euros lol.

Anyway, yeah that game is a great deal indeed. Although, I would rather buy a HL game on the PC, becuase it's one of the few modern games that actualy runs on my PC lol.

Sorry, I wasn't sure what currency it was. I am a little unclear about European currency at the time.

You also might want to consider Puzzle Quest (either Galactrix or Challenge of Warlords) from the Xbox Live Arcade.

The Orange Box and Mass Effect can both be picked up for cheap. Both are fantastic. The only problem is that buying them for those low, low prices is daylight robbery . . . you thief =)

Pounds in Britain, Euros pretty much everywhere else.

No problem, there are a lot of good deals out there that you could check out. It's not only cheap but they are also very good titles. You may want to check out our site if you want to know more about the games that I'm talking about.

I'm a gamer on a budget. I'm looking for goood games preferably under £10, but if you suggest something really good I'll stretch to £15 (Hey, I have no qualms with going without a few meals).

So, any suggestions?

Someone already said it a little higher, but the Orange Box is classic for the price. That will last you a good long while.

If you want to splurge and actually pay for a game that will last a long time, go with Fallout 3 if you haven't already. Instead of looking for cheap games, go for quality. You might buy a 10 dollar game and realize it's crap, then spend another 15 on another 'meh' game and finally end up downloading an 800 MS point game...instead, get a high quality game. Gears is great single player action with a robust multiplayer experience, same with CoD games (get Modern Warfare over World at War). Bethesda is amazing with their games and they last forever...

The Orange Box is supposed to be really good.
It's been suggested already, but Condemned 1 & 2, Lost Odyssey (great story), Viking: Battle for Asgard, and Mass Effect.
If you like shooters, I'd give Quake 4 a chance-it comes with Quake 2 as a bonus if you like Quake...

If you're gonna play Blue Dragon make sure you don't grind, if you ever get stronger then the area you're in the rest of the game will be cake.

Try and grab the Game of the year Edition of Oblivion, that'll save on the DLC.

I would say either Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed or CoD4 if you can find a cheap pre-owned one.
