Good fanfictions

Both of these webcomics:

They're crossover fan-fiction of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon cartoons, made darker and edgier. I believe that the artist was once contacted by CN to be hired as well, due to these as well, and the art style influenced CN's Fusion Core MMO. Both of them are very good reads, though Grim Tales has finished, but PPGD is still ongoing.

I like comedy/parodic fanfics, myself. The selection probably looks a lot better if you're not looking for material you'll want to take seriously.

The best one I've found so far, concerns Teisel Bonne from Mega Man Legends, and his slow descent into madness courtesy of... Well, why don't you see for yourself?

I've read plenty of good or at least interesting Fanfics. But that could be because those are usually the only one's I'd read anyway.

Some Fan-fics of games are suprisingly good.

SOME, of them.

In a ratio of good-bad I'd say...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - cos theres only a few of them, all of which are actually pretty sweet

Half-Life - really interesting stuff here and there

Dead Space - they're all cliche zombie stories, some of them are really good cliche zombie stories

Mass Effect - unfortunately most are just some dorks fantasy world, the ones that aren't are often great

Halo - to me this is the most drastically varying category I've seen, sometimes there are a mass of good ones, then a mass of bad ones

Call of Duty - look very hard and you might find a damn good one...or not
