The film is still way better then the book. Even the author of the book thinks the book is crap compared to the film.Integra post=18.69868.673806 said:I'd recommend the book, it has a much more satisfying ending. The Da-Vinci code book is easy-to-digest. At least Tom Hanks gave some personality to a character that had none in the novel.Frankie The Kingpin post=18.69868.674930 said:Biggest dissapointment in a movie ending? The DaVinci Code, not even gonna go there, anyone who's read the book knows what I mean. Hollywood, are you listening? STOP MAKING CRAP MOVIES AND TV SHOWS!!! THE PUBLIC HAS HAD IT WITH YOUR EASY-TO-DIGEST, PALLATIBLE, STEREOTYPICAL B.S.!!!
Never should have sequeled 28 Days Later. That film was near enough bloody perfect.the protaginist post=18.69868.678443 said:28 weeks later.it sort of ruined the first movie. And the ending was a little...weird.i'll describe it.

The film is so much more visceral. I prefer the film's ending, too. Controversy!mercurio post=18.69868.680062 said:The film is still way better then the book. Eh, I thought it was an okay ending, I mean, two jackhole kids kill the world with their sentimental BS and stupidity.the protaginist post=18.69868.678443 said:28 weeks later.it sort of ruined the first movie. And the ending was a little...weird.i'll describe it.

'Cuz it's going to ABC this year.Spartan Bannana post=18.69868.680016 said:The Scrubs series finale was awful, it tied up no loose ends and it ended badly
I disagree with the Untouchables ending...I thought the ending was perfect as is. However, I do wish whoever had written the line for Ness to say to Capone could have found something more final to say. The whole point of the movie was, of course, how far Elliot Ness would go to get Al Capone- in the end he had to beat them at their own game using their own rules.end_boss post=18.69868.673878 said:The Untouchables was an awesome movie right up until the end at the courthouse.
Collateral was also similar; most of the movie was interesting, exciting, and captivating, then it spiraled into cliches and frustration. The movie fell apart and threw away everything it could have been.
Firefly does have a "sort of" ending movie- I can't think of the name...it was the one about the 12 year old girl with the power to kick the hell out of these "Reaver" beings. I saw it and enjoyed it, even though I had not ever seen any of the series.aswiftlytiltingreality post=18.69868.674719 said:I felt the ending of "Narnia: Prince Caspian" was very anti-climactic.
Really, I reserve all hatred for Fox for canceling good shows that I enjoy *cough* Firefly *cough*. It's only made worse by the fact that there's never any closure. The last episode never really wraps things up and you're left wondering what happens. While "Drive" wasn't exactly spectacular, I was very put out when they canceled "The Inside" and "Wonderfalls".

After Farscape's cancellation, Ben Browder and Claudia Black were out of a job and both joined the cast of SG-1 in the later seasons. I haven't seen much of the show though, so I can't pass judgement on it.
Agreed. I've never watched that film again, despite some serious good bits in it. Brazil does the same thing but SO much better.j-e-f-f-e-r-s post=18.69868.673955 said:The ending for Time Bandits was a serious What The Fuck moment? The film itself was a jolly Python-esque romp through various periods of history, there was a climactic scene with the bad guy, everything seems to go back to normal, then BAM! It wasn't that it was extreme left-field mind fuckery, it just seemed so out of place compared to the rest of the film.
Doubtful, now he's writing Doctor Who.Death Magnetic post=18.69868.679603 said:It is fiction. Oh, I love "Serenity". It was brilliant. However, I would have preferred that the series continued as "Serenity" was considered season 2 of the series. Plus, Wash probably would have not died. The only real reason he did in the film was due to filming conflicts as Alan Tudyk was doing Broadway at the time and Joss couldn't afford to delay filming. Then again, Joss is known for just randomly killing off main characters.Trace2010 post=18.69868.680142 said:Firefly does have a "sort of" ending movie- I can't think of the name...it was the one about the 12 year old girl with the power to kick the hell out of these "Reaver" beings.
