Bioshock 2, but i'm mainly saying that because, as I have said many times before, THE SINGLE PLAYER IS WAY TOO SHORT!!! *ahem* Prototype also had a crap ending.

Alone in the Dark, whatever you do you're screwed. I took the evil ending, safe in the knowledge that, whatever the game seemed to think, it was the right thing to do
I adored Psychonauts, but the last level. Was. So. Frustrating. The actual ending cinematic and such was okay, but the final section which wasn't a boss fight. Man oh man, I have almost never been so frustrated at a game before.
Oh, and Borderlands' ending was pretty bad too, anti-climactic after that whole area being pretty cool.

Chrono Cross is the epitome of this for me. I absolutely loved that game, and I still do in spite of it's horrible ending.

The ending for Fable 2 is just really underwhelming, as is the case for BioShock 1 and 2. All good games, but the endings were lackluster to say the least.
Also Fallout 3 had a bit of a rubbish ending, I finished it before I bought the expansions. The fact that you had a 8-foot tall Super Mutant following you who is pretty much immune to radiation, your character decides it would be a good idea for you to go in the chamber and type in the override code instead.

I'm going with the Prince of Persia Epilogue DLC as worst ending ever. The original ending required some suspension disbelief but wasn't bad, but the DLC ending was just stupid and a complete letdown.
The same way I could criticize any game. For me, it was a hackneyed plot, that only succeeded by playing off of the immense success of the first game. As far as the multiple endings, this is nothing new, games have been offering differing conclusions for years.kemosabi4 said:

Definately Bioshock. I didn't think Fallout 3's ending was that bad, since I was ready for the game to end anyway, but Bioshock felt too abrupt and I somehow got the evil ending even though I'd only harvested a couple of Little Sisters and Rescued most of them.
