Good pc games?

The Sam & Max games are good for a shift from fast paced shooty-bang-bang to actually thinking and getting a good chuckle out of it. Then watching a little rabbit do all the shooty-bang-bang.

My PC game knowledge is limited to say the least, so other suggestions would probably be better to look into.
I am, however, throwing out another Team Fortress 2 recommendation. If you like it, it'll keep you occupied for hours.

competitive? that is an UNDERSTATEMENT. you know that scene in southpark during the wow episode when they get spoon fed and they have someone to help them crap while they play? that is how korean players train. they hire people to do that. no joke, was in a report. that's the reason i stay away from starcraft. its full of people who take it way too seriously.

Anyways, Starcraft is as competitive as any other game with multiplayer. You're going to run into competitive players. You're also going to run into noobs.

I personally don't play melee. Especially not when I can play the custom user maps.
