Like your avatar is going to eat me. Seriously where did you get that cap of Daffy Duck?
Glad to know I'm not the only one put off by that avatar.

Taxis. They scare me, and I'm pretty sure they have it out for me.

I'm sorry, but do you have a larger version of your avatar picture that you are willing to share?

My stupidest fear is big things in small spaces. I'm not claustrophobic, as I'm quite happy in a small, confined space or a locked room, etc, but if I were in a small space where most of the space is taken up by something large, it really freaks me out.

The example that springs to mind was going to a lifeboat station. It was an old station, with a very new, very large, top of the range lifeboat in it. I literally could not walk into the building. the boat took up far too much space.

Sometimes, even aggressively big boss monsters distress me on games, if the camera is too close. I guess its because they take up too much of the screen.

I don't know... I'm weird...

Mine is rather odd.

I tend to walk into public restrooms and then proceed to freak out by thinking I walked in the women's restroom on accident...while peeing in a urinal.

I shit you not.

I'm scared to death by E.T.

Yes, that adorable little alien from the Spielberg film. He scares the living hell out of me, and I never understood why.
Because he is a scrotum with eyes that sounds like Sylvester the cat trying to speak while getting strangled ?

OT: daddy long legs, or in the US i think they're called crane flies?

Mine is a bit of a stupid fear, it is my house at night, it is creepy and pitch black because where I live is surrounded by a forest and the street lights are very dim and barely give any light at all. I get worried something like Slenderman is outside my room, and my pets slowly walking up and down the creaky stairs at night does nothing to help this fear

When I walk into the bathroom and the shower curtain is pulled across. I always get the feeling that something is behind it and when I lower my guard to wash my hands it'll burst out and grab me.
If I swim alone in a deep pool I start to think about sharks and it scares me.
I'm scared to put my hands or feet under things or anywhere I can't see them out of fear of things biting them, mostly spiders or giant centipedes.
I also am afraid of sea lampreys after seeing pictures of the bites they leave.

I really really really dislike clowns on stilts. I don't mind clowns, its those stilt walkers. I dislike them coming anywhere near me and if they do my god I run to the hills.

Its because they have teeny weeny stilt feet. shudder

When I was a tad younger I always had this niggling fear that when I stood in front of a mirror, looked away and looked into it again, there would be a horrid face standing behind me.

Like when I was putting on a sweater as well, when pulling it over my head, there would be someone standing in front of me when my head popped up too.

I was one paranoid kid.

When i was my face in the morning, I'm afraid that, after I rinse my face in the sink, when I look back up at the mirror there will be some sort of "Grudge"-like creepy Japanese chick behind me.

I seem to have a knack for bad timing - after the first time I stayed at my girlfriend's place I got up the next morning and could hear her parents moving around the house. My belt, unfortunately was near her wide open bedroom door and not knowing the layout of the house (we'd arrived in the dark) I didn't know how likely it was someone would be walking past. After spending ten minutes deliberating I finally find the nerve to go and get my belt and put it on. Halfway through putting on my belt I look up and lock eyes with her father. First meeting, and I'm basically just in the process of putting my pants on. Wonderful.

So ever since then I've been worried about doing something suspicious at the worst possible moment, and will wait, and wait, and wait until I'm absolutely sure it's safe.

I'm also afraid to check if my fly is done up in a discreet way while in public in case someone notices and thinks I'm just touching myself. When I do eventually determine my fly is in fact down, I make sure my actions are big and deliberate so there's no question I'm zipping up my fly, and therefore not a pervert - in the process I attract way more attention to myself than if I just checked my fly like a normal person.

I don't like bowling cause I always worry that the guy behind the counter would put butter or something slippery on the bottom of my shoes, so when I go to throw the ball I'll fall over, possibly injuring myself, and everyone will laugh at me.

Spiders. I hate them so much. They creep me out so much. I kill them when I see them. Afterwards, I always get a chill running down my spine.
