I Really hope this project fails. To me, Bioshock works really well as a Game, an Experience. But it Wouldn't work as a Movie.

The problem with trying to make a Bioshock movie using the games as a basis is that the only character you could use is the city itself, with a couple of generic Big Daddies and Little Sisters. You can't use anyone specifically already used, or else it would ruin the concept.
Not necessarily.

Why not rapture during the fall?
You could have the Original Voice actor for Andrew Ryan speaking bodilessly throughout the halls of rapture.

Also, FUCK 3D. It doesn't add anything to the damn film.

I would have been disappointed if they had made it as an "R" movie...there is so much that you cannot get away with in an "R" movie that isn't pornographic. Remember, to get an "R" rating, you still need a catholic priest to sign off on it (I wish that was a joke). An "R" rating would not have let them "Harvest" little girls...not even freakish mutant abominations that just happen to look like little girls. Heck, harvesting happened off-screen in the games, and it was still disturbing the first few times...even by my standards (and I killed off every kid I find in Fallout NV).

Wanted was an expensive blockbuster with big effects and big stars, THAT did really well with an 18/R rating

This actually makes me depressed for Battle LA again. Every single time I see that trailer, I think it looks kickin' rad and then i see the PG-13 rating.

Then I know some jackass in the money line, decided it needed to be cut back and probably ruined to an extent to make a PG-13 rating, to bring in more money.

I feel like the PG-13 rating was created for the sole purpose of money.

And here I thought they wanted to make it a 'family friendly' movie. Get with the times, old man, it's all about 18-34.
