Gorillaz is Over

Mmm as many I liked a few of the songs.. but well cd's are overrated. You pay money to get 2 or 3 good songs and the rest.. well with luck it just needs time to grow on you. Yet many cases those 2-3 are all that matters.

But yeah they made a few nice happy songs.

I remember watching the music video for 'Feel Good Inc.' on TV awhile ago, but didn't really have much interest in them after that. The fans must be in shock but I think they had their time.

They were never my thing. I guess it's sad in a way, because they aren't your average run-of-the-mill band you hear whenever you turned on the radio, but I'd be lying if I said they had anything else going for them.

I only really like Clint Eastwood so I can't say I'm bothered tbh. Sad for the fans I guess.

Was that their first really huge song? Something to do with sunshine in a bag? I got the CD that was on and was greatly disappointed. Never cared for them and honestly thought they had faded into obscurity years ago.

No that song was called, funnily enough, Sunshine in a Bag.

Clint Eastwood was an album and a song.

I was wrong. Yes, that song is called Clint Eastwood. I was making the embarrassing mistake of remembering an album by a reggae band that I saw in someone's record collection called Clint Eastwood and just assuming it was a Gorillaz album due to them recording a song of the same name.

Well fuck.
