I love GT, but man, this is ridiculous. They might have won me over to buy a PS3 if GT5 had come out on time. But instead, I have a 360 and I'm happy as can be. Now I will likely never play GT5. As far as I'm concerned, GT5 is no better than vaporware.

At least we've gotten Prologue.
so what?? none of the mentioned were in prologue. personally, i think they ran out of money and used prologue to fund the game.
If so, does it matter? Prologue was awesome, and the extra time taken seems like it's being well used anyway. There's more detail for one car in GT5P than in most levels of other games.

I'd been wondering for a while when they'd finally add the damage feature, nighttime racing etc.
It'll push a good game into greatness, I think.

the thing about all this stuff is it's stuff they had to take out of PGR4 because the single disc couldn't fit it

it's probly one of the best driving games out there, the cooler part is the maker of the game drove the Nürburgring and was able to do so pretty quickly because of playing the Gran Turismo series

About time they added damage. GT has always prided itself as "The Real Driving Simulator" but they conveniently skipped over that one little MAJOR feature called collision damage. The same thing happened in GT4, GT5P as what happened in the original, when I hit a wall headon at 200mph: nothing, except a sudden stop. Very real. But quibbles aside, if they do deliver on a good collision engine and dynamic weather, GT5 will be awesome, and they can count on my money when it comes out.
