If a squirrel could reverse gravity when it wished would it make the world a better place?
What use would we put them to? Would we make squirrels mounted missiles? Would we use them in the mining industry? Imagine in medieval time's launching a squirrel into a castle and watching everybody flying into the air.

Let me know if you think they would be good or bad & what you would use them for.

(please don't use any innuendo about nuts or start threatening people with squirrels. My last thread was locked for 1 of those reasons & I just want to see what ideas you come up with)

It would be so awesome, squirrels would become our physics bending overlords.

I would have squirrel-based rollerblades. And thus, rule the earth

I found a problem with this imaginative scenario. "a squirrel could reverse gravity when it wished" this means, that we couldn't possibly put them to use. While we were trying to catch them, they would just alter gravity on us so that we floated away, causing them no harm.

And if we were able to catch them and throw them at enemies, they may not want to alter gravity and we would just be firing regular squirrels at people... and trust me, that's not really an effective way to harm your enemies.

Haha... Squirrels of mass destruction.

My thread got locked, what should I do?

A.
Post it again, it was obviously just a mistake, and the public will be glad to have you back where they can comment on you again.

No.
I don't see anything wrong with this so far...

Last time i put this up people started talking about setting squirrels on other peoples n**t's

You could use sleep indusing drugs so they wont do it while you have them in storage & then wake them up & drop them out of plane's so they have to alter gravity not to die.

Squirrel based GRAVITY GUN!
Electrical impulses to stimulate them into doing my bidding
just the thought of what the actual device looked like makes me a little worried. unless it looked like the Portal gun..

but what a concept. hehehe

Again I don't see anything wrong with that, admittedly i'm not a fan of walnuts or any other variety.

You... Often create physics altering squirrel debates?

Wow, you have really thought this out. The problem with this scenario is that while in storage, one of the squirrels WILL wake up, look around and see that you've kept it's fellow squirrel brothers against their will. This squirrel in a fit of rage will use it's power to free the rest of the squirrels and destroy the factory/lab you have them in.

These freed squirrels will gather together and there will be a great squirrel/human war. This war will only be resolved when I figure that we have to launch the squirrels into space where their gravity altering powers have no effect. However there will be many casualties along the way, and the squirrel species will go extinct.

And exactly how would gravy-eating squirrels be useful? Are we meant to produce and supply them with the gravy they eat? Seems pointless.

Yeah sorry, I may have been a little bit responsible for that locking, especially since you used me as an example. Well, not directly, but I believe I mentioned the nuts-thing.
So, again, my apologies.

I would use shock therepy(sp?) to train them to make gravity work in whatever direction I want. Then I would breed them to diminish the power of the gravity. Then I just glue them to whatever I want, put an arrow in front of them, and BAM!

Instant hovering technology.
