It looks like an interesting game and I've heard good things about it. I hope it someday comes to PC or something.
Yeah, it's really good. It's like a combination of visual novel and adventure game with some light RTS elements. But it's really the art, the music and particularly the story that elevate the game into something truly memorable.
"Hey Jon, how's the title song for our Robocop game going?"
"Well, it's been tough. I've been going through a really rough breakup and my dog got run over, but I think I've come up with a demo."
"Eh, it'll be fine, just send it over and we'll use it."
I guess we can also add the CBoyardee robocop.mp3 arrangement, since it's part of the unofficial Space Station 13 "soundtrack"/meme culture.
Honestly, tonal inconsistency aside it's a really great melody, and I also love the slightly twin-peaks-esque vibe of robocop.mp3. It's kind of a perfect fit for the surreal tone of your typical round, and a gentle little reminder that while bad things may happen in space it's not worth getting mad over.
