Either a game or a film that you thought had a great concept, but all together was badly brought out.

I thought the film: Outlaw, ex-British officer comes back from Iraq to find the streets are filled with violence and crime and decides to take matters into his own hands.

Concept sounds good, but the camera work was shoddy and amateur, acting was mediocre, story was brought out like you would pull out a hedgehog/pufferfish hybrid out of a wet paper bag (in other words it was crap), even ended with you asking "WTF!?"

FEMA.

Yes it isn't a movie or a game, but it was a great concept that was fucked up by some idiot who couldn't run a horse show to save his life.

The newest Alone in the Dark game. It could have been sooooo damn good. D: It probably would have been one of my favourite games if it hadn't messed up so bad.

Referencing Yahtzee's most recent review....Darkest of Days. That sounded so awesome to play, and yet it was lacking so very much. It could've outshone many of this generation's shooters, but it was a far subpar early-Xbox quality title. Shame.

Mirrors Edge, great concept but it would have been better had it been refined and if the world had been opened up. As it was the collision detection was buggy and the linear world really confined the flow of the game.

Ugh Warpath (the game)
It seemed really fun. 3 rival forces pitted against each other for control of a planet, with upgradeable weapons. What we get is MEH wrapped in more MEH

I actually just bought that game. Thank god I bought it with store credit because I can't say I was impressed. I like the blinking though. Blink, blink, blink. Yes, I do have ADD, thank you.

CoD3. Let's play as soldiers from lots of different countries as they try to liberate France. Great idea, except they all sucked and none of them were memorable, and all the different gameplay elements felt schizophrenic.

I'm tempted to say Assassin's Creed, but I liked that game, despite a few crappy choices in gameplay and story design, and I'm psyched for AC2, which seems to be everything the first game should have been.

Star Fox: Command and Starfox: Adventures. Both were great concepts, but the execution felt forced and unappetizing.

If they combined them though into one game.... well, that would've been pretty damn sweet.

Crimecraft. It claims to be a persistent world MMO FPS. It sounds awesome in theory. The only one of those it actually has is the FPS part...and it's terrible, also for a game called Crimecraft, there isn't any crime.

Yeah, the idea of correcting time, but for got sake, stop always adding the americans into it. No offence but americans don't have a history, Romans, Greek they have interesting history in war, hell Japan and China have very interesting war phases.

Jumper. It had a terrible conclusion. 'Only god may have that power to be in all places'. Woooo, religious explanation.

Oh that's easy, top of my head and I didn't even have to think about it. Too Human, I mean the concept was nice, a kind of Neo-Norse, tech-fest and the concept of Baldur being 'too human' was interesting but they never capitalized on that idea.
