I love one of the scout's general domination lines:

Or one of his revenge lines:

Come to think of it, the scout is quite medium aware [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MediumAwareness], isn't he? I mean, look at these other lines:

He seems to know he's in some kind of game. No other class makes any real mention of these things.

Is it a refrence to something? Does it have a deeper meaning?

When a spy dominates a scout he says 'May I borrow your earpiece?' Then makes a scout voice and says that rainbows make him cry.

Why do people keep describing this to me? I'm pretty familiar with TF2; I've just been wondering if its referring to something, or is making implications other than just being silly.
