I'd definitely get that. Sod my student budget and lack of finance, Green Day are too awesome for me to miss this out.

Still don't think they deserve a rock band game?
Hell yes they do, I'd love to play through all of that. That would definitely make my day :)

I'd probably pick up a Green Day add-on. Both American Idiot and their new album would be fun to play through, though I don't know if I'd want to play through all the tracks all the time.

At the very least I'd love to get some of their songs as DLC. I'd really like to play Holiday in particular - that would be great fun.

ROCK BAND: IRON MAIDEN!
this tuesday they're releasing an iron maiden 12 pack =D , not a full game but still 12 songs is nice :)

OT, im willing to bet that it is just going to be a large track pack, i can't see this going into a full game. And since when did they announce Pearl Jam rock band? omg that'll be terrible :( (decent music, but boring as heck to play)

Green Day, eh? Popular, but not what I'd choose. I'd someone both highly influential and popular despite numerous decades. Okay you could argue that Green Day fit that bill, but I still think Harmonix could go better (they got The Beatles).

Yeah, that sounds like the sort of band they'd go for, Led Zeppelin or Queen would be a good choice too.

I'll take the 12-pack of Iron Maiden songs tomorrow and be content with what I have. I'd much rather have one disk with a ton of DLC rather than a bunch of disks that I have to interchange.

Rock Band: Green Day? What the hell are these people smoking? What's next? Rock Band: Jonas Brothers? Rock Band: Avril Lavigne? Rock Band: Nickelback?

Shame on you, Harmonix. Unless you make Rock Band: Tool, Rock Band: Ozzy Osbourne, Rock Band: Pantera, and Rock Band: Def Leppard all at once and release them in the same month, you can not recover from this.

Well this will be popular with all the girls, no doubt my sister will want to buy it if it becomes true. Although I would LOVE to see a Linkin Park Rock Band, my reasoning for this is: My favorite band, and i know the words to 90% of their songs, I probably wouldn't be able to hit some of the notes though, chester is nuts.

Rock Band: Green Day? That's it, punk is dead. If it wasn't already a twitching, rotting corpse it certainly is now. I'm selling my guitars right now and becoming a stockbroker.

I see no reason to think it's a full game based solely on the ramblings of one drunken rock star.... It could just as easily be a track pack or album download.

Either way, I'm glad to hear it because the people who do in fact like Green Day (myself included) have been starving to play any of their music in Rock band and/or Guitar Hero up until now... I'll buy it, whichever it turns out to be.

I wouldn't mind a Rock Band: Green Day, just as long as they have more songs from they're old albums, not too much of this youth punk rock crap (seriously Billy Joe, what the fuck?)

Personally, I would love to see a Rock Band: Rage Against the Machine, but seeing how PC Harmonix is these days, that's about as likely as having a 20 year old Keira Knightly fall from the sky right on top of me (still, one can hope.)

Dude, that's just regular Rock Band while you're on peyote...wouldn't hate it though...
