First of all im not a fanboy. I have a pc,360 and ps3. Im just saying that the sixaxis is once again useless and the shoulder buttons are shit. The xbox version is the best because of no stupid controls and exclusive dlc. Is that enough evidence for you?

How could u bring Sixaxis into it, u dont even use Sixaxis in GTA4, the shoulder buttons have no problems and the controls are better on the PS3, so dont chat shit and as for the DLC, no big loss, it is only a matter of time before the PS3 goes beyond everything in the console market, so MS can just waste money trying to secure exclusive DLC.

I know he said it first, but which controls are better are simply a matter of opinion. I myself hate the new PS3 controller, and would much rather use the PS2 one, but it's still better than the old xBox controller, boy I hated that thing.
Personally, I think the PC's controls are better, but that's just because I hate using console controllers to play games.

I'd like to know what you think the PS3 is going to kill the 360 with(well sort of, since I'm really quite frankly mutual in the area).

Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, MAG, Infamous, God Of War 3 and a few more exclusives planned that I cant think of at the moment. Also, I aint arguing, but why do alot of people like the PC controls???

See, I thought you meant they had some special accessory planned, those games do look kick ass though.
It's a fair question, personally, I like the PC's controls better because I prefer fast accuracy(I can Headshot a person faster in GTA: IV with a mouse, than they can bodyshot me with an controller). It's mostly the mouse, but the keyboard is special in that you have so many mappable commands, so close together.
Controllers clearly have the low down on the PC when it comes to things like racing games(I'm talking basic controller vs keyboard/mouse), but racing games aren't as frequently visted in my game library, so meh.

I never got the point of using a mouse to play games, I think it should always be a controller and using a keyboard and having commands close together, does it matter because the buttons are just as close together on the controller as it is a keyboard, also racing games suck, the last good one was Need For Speed Most Wanted.

microsoft payed rockstar for them to have extra content on the 360, so they did, the 360 one is indeed full of extra content that the ps3 one does not have accessible at all.

Ps3 may be the most powerful, but since they cant get people to take the much needed time to make games properly for it, then your stuck with a console that is too expensive to make games for; which is the main reason that the price of the console has stayed high. Also there is no noticeable graphical difference in 360 or ps3, I know you'll say it displays truer tones or such, but when you come down to it, if you saw someone playing fallout 3, or gta 4 or such, you could tell simply from the visuals.

Simply that GTA IV would be much better on the Sega Genesis with the addons than PS3 or 360, when you attached all the genesis addons it needed 3 power supplies making it much more powerful than any system. Just do the math, PS3 and 360 have one power supply each, Genesis+32x+Sega CD has three. That's beyond any systems power requirements, even the coleco vision who's power supply weighs like 3 pounds.

Remember, recommended settings = required settings on pretty much every game released. Bare this in mind.

I have the same story, GTA4 also has sloppy controls and is ugly. I'm really disappointed with my purchase of it. Try sending bug reports to Rockstar, and pray for some sort of patch. That's what I've been doing.

The reason why graphics ain't that different on the PS3 and Xbox 360 is because MS wouldn't want to see developers make the PS3 version better and because MS can't contain as much as the PS3, the PS3 version cant be as good as it should be, any game that was released on both consoles would be better as PS3 exclusives and that is the reason most PS3 exclusives are some of the best games of this gen coz the PS3 exclusives dont have MS pulling them back. Also, we got games planned, so it dont matter that some companies are too cheap to make a game for PS3 exclusive standards, we got some good exclusives now and on the way anyway.

Gaming systems back then were primitive (sort of), so how could they be more powerful??? Also more power supplys doesn't mean the system was more powerful. PS3 is a revolution in the gaming industry and it may be a long time before someone changes that.

PS3 is not the best system because there's no such thing, it's all down to what the person likes, if you cannot accept that someone might not enjoy the PS3 as much as you do then that's too bad. I know he said it first, but which controls are better are simply a matter of opinion. I myself hate the new PS3 controller, and would much rather use the PS2 one, but it's still better than the old xBox controller, boy I hated that thing.
Personally, I think the PC's controls are better, but that's just because I hate using console controllers to play games.

I'd like to know what you think the PS3 is going to kill the 360 with(well sort of, since I'm really quite frankly mutual in the area).

Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, MAG, Infamous, God Of War 3 and a few more exclusives planned that I cant think of at the moment. Also, I aint arguing, but why do alot of people like the PC controls???

It's a fair question, personally, I like the PC's controls better because I prefer fast accuracy(I can Headshot a person faster in GTA: IV with a mouse, than they can bodyshot me with an controller). It's mostly the mouse, but the keyboard is special in that you have so many mappable commands, so close together.
Controllers clearly have the low down on the PC when it comes to things like racing games(I'm talking basic controller vs keyboard/mouse), but racing games aren't as frequently visited in my game library, so meh.

I never got the point of using a mouse to play games, I think it should always be a controller and using a keyboard and having commands close together, does it matter because the buttons are just as close together on the controller as it is a keyboard, also racing games suck, the last good one was Need For Speed Most Wanted.

A mouse to play games is damn right necessary to play FPS. For precision playing, there is no beating it with any of today's peripherals. A controller simply does not have the ability to move quickly AND precisely, you can only get with-in an approximation fast. That is why console's have auto-lock on, etc. It's also why games like GTA 4, Saints Row, become insanely easy on a PC.
GRID is a pretty good racing game btw. And it does matter, because although the console's controls are close together, you have limited controls mapable, compared to a keyboard. Hence when a game is designed for PC's solely (Which not many of them are these days unfortunately), you have much more control over the game.

I feel increasingly sorry for hardcore PC gamers, not least because the many issues with computer-based games stop me from buying more new PC titles. With all this crap about copy protection software blocking use of real, legally bought, entirely genuine game discs, limited installs and the fact that maddeningly powerful processors are needed for half the things coming out, I'm really put off buying things like Left 4 Dead, which I would otherwise love to have a go on. I'm just glad Fragile Allegiance came out 13 years ago, so it hardly needs a mega-computer to run it.

microsoft payed rockstar for them to have extra content on the 360, so they did, the 360 one is indeed full of extra content that the ps3 one does not have accessible at all.

Like what you like, but bashing a console for no reason, and praising another is absurd. I'm not defending the 360 or mocking the PS3, they're both quality systems. Isn't it okay to say that GTA IV is great on either console? It's the game that's fun, not the system, if playing a game on a different system bothers you then I really don't understand where you're coming from. Actually, I wasn't the one that came to this topic and started bashing the Xbox 360, some other guy started bashing the PS3 and I felt angry about his comment and this discussion has escalated and it has turned into an argument and I do hate Xbox with a reason, MS released a dysfunctional console onto the market and got people to buy it, even though it suffered from overheat and it scratches your discs and they knew about it. Also, I have nothing against myself being a fanboy and plus GTA IV would have been better as a PS3 exclusive and it would have been a better game.

I think it would have been much better exclusive to the Sega Genesis, first off like you said there's no way the disc could get scratched because it runs on cartridges, then they could have come out with a Sega CD expansion disc for realistic radio stations, or they could have gone the whole hog and put out a Sega 32x+CD game for 32 bit graphics and CD quality music. Man those guys were smart, it took 3 power supplies, making it 3 times as powerful as the PS3 or 360 with their single power supply, then stack the blast processing on it and it's no contest!

Dont forget the Sega add-ons for the Genesis suffered malfunctions and nothing is as powerful as a PS3, that is a fact and what has Sega got to do with this???

Simply that GTA IV would be much better on the Sega Genesis with the addons than PS3 or 360, when you attached all the genesis addons it needed 3 power supplies making it much more powerful than any system. Just do the math, PS3 and 360 have one power supply each, Genesis+32x+Sega CD has three. That's beyond any systems power requirements, even the coleco vision who's power supply weighs like 3 pounds.

Gaming systems back then were primitive (sort of), so how could they be more powerful??? Also more power supplys doesn't mean the system was more powerful. PS3 is a revolution in the gaming industry and it may be a long time before someone changes that.

PS3 is not the best system because there's no such thing, it's all down to what the person likes, if you cannot accept that someone might not enjoy the PS3 as much as you do then that's too bad. Personally I don't care about the console, it's about the game, because alone the console is just a pile of parts, with the game then it's a fun machine.

First of all im not a fanboy. I have a pc,360 and ps3. Im just saying that the sixaxis is once again useless and the shoulder buttons are shit. The xbox version is the best because of no stupid controls and exclusive dlc. Is that enough evidence for you?

How could u bring Sixaxis into it, u dont even use Sixaxis in GTA4, the shoulder buttons have no problems and the controls are better on the PS3, so dont chat shit and as for the DLC, no big loss, it is only a matter of time before the PS3 goes beyond everything in the console market, so MS can just waste money trying to secure exclusive DLC.

I will try to give a PC game a try one day to see what the controls are like, but until then, I will stick with the PS3. Also, GRID was ok in my opinion.
