Guess who's back? Back again!

Not sure what I should expect for a reaction to this thread, but I would like to say that after about a year away, I'm officialy returning to the Escapist.

I have been to the 4chan, and it was strange. A place with little morality or values, but fascinating nontheless. Sadly, due to an influx of degenerate scene people, who for the sake of cleanliness I will refer to as "newfriends", most of the charm melted away, and I became nostalgic for the days of the Escapist.

I realized that the Escapist was the place for me. No nerds, goths, or scene people. No sociopaths, freaks, or savages. Just a group of intelligent, humorous people with friendly attitudes.

It's been awhile since I've poked my brightly-colored avatar around here. I'm not sure if I'll be recognized, but it feels good to be back all the same.

You must be thinking of the OTHER escapist. With all the my-unheard-of-metal-band ranting (although the music threads have been disappearing), and the fact we are on a video game website kind of make me think you're in the wrong place.

I was a fairly prominent member for the last half of 2009, including a review series I started, and I came back because I realized this was the only place that I belonged. 4chan is filled with strange, degenerate, sociopaths, and Gaia is filled with hipsters and scenies.
