Gum: Spit or Swallow?

...Oh... I thought we were going to be talking about something else.
Spit it into a trash can. Since the way I eat gum is I usually take a piece, when it loses it's flavor add another one in and keep doing this until my mouth is completely full with the entire pack of Gum gone, and swallowing a mass of Gum that large is quite difficult...
If there's a few things this community is known for, it's Ponies, Console bashing, extreme cynicism, pretentiousness/ arrogance and threads with suggestive titles!
Examples:
"Do you like nuts?" (Actually a thread about people's favorite kind of nut) [sub]by me[/sub]
"Thin, Thick or Deep?" (Actually a thread about what kind of Pizza you like)
and this thread. (Actually about methods of disposing of Gum)
I swear, trying to see how many people you can get to think the thread they're going into is going to be about something sexual is like a Sport with no numerical scoring system here. Besides, you're never too old for a good sex joke if it's skillfully told and well thought up.

swallow. its easier and cleaner for the environment. And i've always believed the whole 'its bad to swallow gum' to be a bit of an urban myth. I've swallowed gum for years and never had a problem.

Just want to point out to people that gun-swallowing is NOT all that bad for you. The reason most people think it is is because when it was first stated that gum was indigestible some uneducated mothers told their children that it would kill them.
In actuality gum is just like fiber, not going to kill you, will make you poop more. (note, please do not substitute gum for your dietary fiber intake, you do not want your poo to be sticky.)

I had a feeling this thread wasn't what it sounded like, if only because of the typical demographic of this site. I just wasn't sure what it could be referring to.
