FS2000(.223), Colt AR 15(.223), AK-47(7.62X39), AK-74(5.45X39), PS90(5.7X28), .22 Repeater, M1 Garand(.30-06), M1 Carbine(.30), Springfield XD(9mm), Saiga-12K(12 gauge), MP5 Full auto(9mm), Mac 11 Full auto(9mm), GSG-5 (.22 MP5), M4(5.56), Walther P22(.22), Desert Eagle(.50 AE), Kriss Super V AKA Vector(.45), Mac 10(.45), and I think that's all.
I live in England and am not part of the aristocracy (and don't break weapon laws). So no. I don't feel like I need one for protection either, I can fairly confidently walk through the nearest major cities pretty much at any time without feeling unsafe, I have the stamina and speed to back up getting away from a close range assailant, and I'm not too worried about gun crime, it tends to be a case of you get shot or you don't around here, no one gets mugged with a gun and there aren't that many shootings anyway (the last was months ago that I have heard about).
I have fired, H&K USPs in 9mm and .40. Colt .357 in revolver and semi, a colt M911 The Desert Eagle in .357 and .50 (fuckin' BaNg!) Smiths in 9mm, .380, .40 about 15 different Uzis the Setyr AUS, some guy loaned me his M4, I carried a Minimi for a week, Browning .30, Browning .50 and a Browning 9mm highpower (pop pop - useless.) the AT4, some 66mm rocket launchers thrown grenades, and placed claymores.
I want to sneak into the armour school and let off a little something from an Abrams, but for some reason you have to be authorised. ~sigh~
And I believe in gun control....
Three guns. I'm not sure what the make or models were, but I know one was a .22 caliber rifle, one was a semi-auto rifle loaded with 6mm bullets (I emptied a 30 round mag in like 15 seconds, it was awesome), and some sort of Elephant rifle, .38 I think (not sure if it was bolt action, but man, it had some recoil). It was quite a while ago, so I'm fuzzy on the details.
I do remember getting to hold a few shotguns, including a really nice double-barreled shotgun, and a crossbow.
For those who haven't experienced firing a gun, it is LOUD. I underestimated how loud it was gonna be, although when you're the one firing the gun, it actually seems a little quieter, maybe because you're concentrating or something.
I've gone skeet shooting with a 12 guage pump-action shotgun. Had a ton of fun but damn was my shoulder sore the next morning. That's the only long barrel gun I've fired. Handguns....I've fired a glock compact 9mm and a really old colt .45 revolver. I currently own a full frame Taurus 9mm stainless. It's pretty and accurate but heavy. I'm thinking about getting a little snub nose .38 for concealed carry but haven't made up my mind yet.
0_O Wow. I'm jealous. All I've shot is a couple of .22 rifles...
Also I swear your avatar goes in time to a ridiculous amount of songs. Every time I see a post of yours it goes well with whatever I'm listening to, from metal to, right now, The Script
I shot something so long ago that I can't rightly remember what it was. If I had to guess from memory, it was some sort of small-caliber early 20th-century rifle, but it was 15 years ago.
I love guns, but I never really get a chance to fire them off and my gun enthusiasm has met universal dislike from any girlfriend I've ever had. Also, if that experience 15 years ago was anything to go by, I couldn't hit an elephant from point-blank range.
I love guns (but I love swords more). I have several pieces. A Magnum .357, a Cold War era M1911A1, Glock 17, and one bolt action sniper rifle also from Cold War era. Don't know which rifle it is but it's Russian. It's not a Mosin-Nagant and it's not Dragunov. There are no markings on it, no serial numbers - nothing.

Well, I own a .410 shotgun, a semi-auto .22 LR rifle, a Glock 36 compact .45 ACP. I've shot the guns I own plenty of times, I've fired a 12 gauge pump and double-barrel, as well as a 20 gauge, a .50 cal black powder rifle, a Springfield 30-06, a .308 hunting rifle, a Colt AR-15 chambered in .223, a Colt 1911 frame .45 auto, a .357 magnum S&W revolver, and a .38 special, and a .44 Magnum. Guns are fun to shoot!
I've never shot a gun but I'd love to have a go. In fact I'd love to have loads of guns of all kinds though I'd never go out shooting anything that was alive, they'd be used for shooting at targets only. I have no inclination to shoot anything that i'm not going to eat.
.177 air rifle and air pistol. You'd be amazed what one of those things will do.
.22LR Browning model 22, some stubby Beretta (unreliable feed and inaccurate), some stubby other brand (unreliable feed, inaccurate and not as good at setting off the reluctant primers) and S&W (reliably jammed first and last rounds of a 10-round magazine every single time) semi-autos and one revolver (not very accurate for me).
9mm Browning, Star and maybe one or two others.
.45 Colt model 1911.
.357 magnum revolver (figure-8 hole with first two rounds single action, hole in ceiling with third round double action).
12-gauge buckshot from a pump-action shotgun and birdshot from a couple of bird guns, moderately successfully.
5.56 x 45mm (European and M16A2 version) from L85, L86 and L98 (accurate alright, but they're heavy and need TLC to keep them working, and with rough handling they loosen and rattle ... or bend in the middle).
.223 or 5.56 x 45mm Euro or 5.56 x 45mm US (I don't know) from an old M16 (light and comfortable weapon to use, and seemed to be fairly accurate).
7.62 x 39mm from a cheap knock-off AK47 (horrible, inaccurate, inconsistent, clumsy mess).
7.62 x 51mm from an L81A2 (ridiculous amount of kick for a little girl and wasn't set up for me so didn't enjoy that).
Used to shoot a various plethora of weapons (including several that project arrows).
Mainly sniper rifles of the Arctic Warfare series (recoil is not as bad as you'd expect, oddly enough), along with Lee-Enfield (chambered for 0.22 and original 0.303, unsurprisingly a very big difference, though not that much when you're the one pulling the trigger). Always wanted to shoot something with a free-floating barrel, to see what the fuss was about.
I've shot a whole lot, from my dads Wilson Combat 1911 and Walther P99, to a muzzleloader. In between theres a .50 Cal rifle I shot, an AR-15, a .308, several shotguns, and more pistols. I went to New Mexico for two weeks about four years ago to learn about guns/safety/stuff with the NRA.
I like guns, I own a 12 Bore shotgun for clay shooting and possible rabbit/ pheasant mugging. I love clay shooting, its a fun and satisfying hobby imo.
I've also fired a semi-auto 12 bore shotgun, very fun indeed, especially if you just pull the trigger as fast as you can till it's empty. I prefer Over/Unders for most things though.
I've fired air rifles, but not real rifles (which are harder to get hold of in the UK) or handguns (which are illegal for civilians) although I'd like to own a rifle one day, just a .22 or .17 HMR for small game and plinking really. Im never going to be hunting boar or deer so I wouldnt need anything bigger than that really, though I'd still like to fire some larger calibers too.

I dislike them ... they are heavy, loud and smell bad when you shoot them. Which consequently makes you smell bad.
People's facination with guns is scary ... it's like being fascinated with a diesel pump. Only smells worse and is even louder <.<
See swords I can live with because they don't make much noise when you swing them, and they don't smell. I quite like sabre fencing myself.
But guns? Wtf? It's a clunky piece of metal lacking in any sort of grace or elegance.
Not only that but they are, without a shadow of doubt, the most cowardly weapons there are (I suppose barring ballistic missile and other long range ordnance). It's quite pathetic really people's attachment to things that were designed to kill other animals at a range.
and hunters, competition shooters, target shooters, the military and police force...
I'm not seeing how guns make people cowards, theyre very useful tools indeed, as well as being fun

12 gauge shotgun for trap shooting.
The recoil was fine (though it was just bird-shot) what got me in the end was the sheer weight of the weapon, my arms began to ache and tremble after a while of shooting then I was hitting considerably worse.
Thats the trouble with clay shooting. You get a heavy gun, it softens the recoil but you have to heft the bugger around all day, but you get a light gun that you can swing nice and easy and it kicks harder. The balance has to be found
My gun is of the lighter variety, and if you dont mount it in your sholder properly, you'll end up with a nice bruise for your troubles

Hunters: Hunting is unnecessary ,cruel and cowardly (hunting for sport 100 times more so)
target shooting: Go nuts but why not do something useful instead.
the military: same as guns have no right to exist.
Police: if you need a gun you're not good enough at your job.
