I'm not going to install SteamOS to my computer period. That is meant for console players only, I'm a Windows guy. Don't get me wrong I despise Win8, but Win7 is working out for me just fine.

Never was too interested in Half Life, but I am very interested in the Borealis, which I learned about in Portal. Then I somewhat tracked the story even though I didn't play the games (Half Life 1 bored me and I gave it three chances), and I got intrigued. I really want to know what's up with the Borealis, and for that, if nothing else, I do want Half Life 3. All Valve has to for a teaser trailer is upload a picture with 3 in it.. Then say it's Team Fortress 3. Okay maybe not just a 3..

But in seriousness, I would bet good money that the reason there has been such a huge delay between HL2 & 3 is because they want to showcase their new engine with it.

I'm really happy to see Adam Foster's name on that list, I played Minerva for the first time a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it.

That said, we should keep in mind that Valve's internal structure basically lets people do whatever they want, so just because a few more people showed up on the roster we can't really assume that this means production is in full swing or anything.

Seamus was RIGHT. If they don't have HL3 as a launch title for Steambox they are CRAZY
As soon as HL2 worked out as well as it did, valve became tied to Steam, which really changes the equation for Valve as a developer.
I fully expect to see HL3 as a freebie with steambox purchase. You heard it here first.

Given how skilled and thorough their developers are I HIGHLY doubt this was a mistake. If something needs to be kept under the wraps at a place like valve, they'll make sure it stays under the wraps. This was 10000000% intentional.
