Yes. It's scientific

It is a mathematical term to determining when something has lost half of it's quantity. Hence "half". Do you guys know what I'm talking about, or is this as new to you as it was for me?

All the Half Life names are scientific, Decay, Blue Shift, opposing force.

Not new to me, sorry buddy, but i'm an avid fan of quantum mechanics and physics in general.

Well you never know. Someone somewhere might find this stuff to be ridiculously important. Lives may hang in the balance based on whether they know the origins of the name... of a video game... yeah...

On second thought, this probably isn't important info, but that's not the point of forums is it? it's all the wacky shenanigans, memes, and hijinks that ensue while people try to talk about the topic. It may not be useful, but damn it sure is fun.

I knew that before I even started doing proper science. This is when I was around 8 andgot the 1st half life.

EDIT The way I wrote that post, it looks like was eight when I wrote it.
