Okay, holy shit. This almost made me forget Halo was boring as hell.
That is an awesome amount of death.
It's not boring if you play it co-op with friends and laugh as you bash in the tiny brains of screaming grunts. Which is how I suspect it has come to this.

So, about 1.5 covenant dead for every human on the earth- from Masai villagers in Tanzania to... well me.

Eh, we played versus mode mostly.
The owner of the Xbox killed us way too much for it to be fun.
Anyway, I just prefer games that are more than straight FPSes.
Yeah, I have the same problem. I have a frend who gets more time on the Xbox than anyone I've ever met, so he's very good. He also has no concept of where the usual banter gets to the point where it's really friggin' annoying. But co-op campaign isn't so bad.

Is Halo and WoW the only game that has statistics or something? I wonder why I never see these weird in-game stats on things other than WoW and Halo 3.

Somewhere there are a bunch of dudes exchanging fist-bumps over this.

How I wish I were among them.

I'm more interested in knowing how many idiotic marines died in order to accomplish this goal.
1,809,405,639 friendlies KIA, but that counts civilians and Elite and Sentinel allies as well as Marines.

And technically the enemies KIA stat also tracks Flood killed (and enemy Sentinels), not infection forms though. The stats might also include vehicles killed in addition to their occupants.

People still play campaign What the hell. By now it you'd think it would just be multiplayer
I played some of the campaign just last week. The Ark is one of the best FPS levels ever made.

How many UNSC did we sacrifice/TK to get that though?
A lot. Why? Because we are such might killing machines, that we then kill each other for sport online. BALLS OF STEEL!

Wow, were that to happen on Earth, the UN might just have to issue a non-binding resolution.

this is...Halo 3.
Now sit back, and imagine Halo: Combat evolved's death count.
And Halo 2.
Now think of Halo wars.
We have slayed quite a number, haven't we all?
Give each other a high five the next time you see a fellow halo player.

"According to Robt McLees, If we were to skin the Covenant aliens felled upon Earth's battlefield, there would be enough leather to upholster the entire state of New Jersey. Which would be easily be the most disgusting thing ever done in the history of disgusting things."

10 Bajillions of little whiney aliens ain't nothing compared to the amount of zombies killed daily in L4D!
