Halo 3?

When the first Halo came out it was a pretty good game, I wouldn't say great, but a good game. Now Xbox 360 owners have Halo 3. Like everyone else I was pretty excited about this game but in my honest oppinion it's a bad game because I think for a game to be great the singleplayer has to be compelling and have good replay value, Halo 3 doesn't deliver that.

I want to know what you guys think. Do you think it's a good or bad game, and why?

I think it was good game, it didn't live up to the hype but it wasn't a bad game, and the multiplayer was very enjoyable.

Now that halo 3 is done i hope they give us some awesome Prequels

It wasn't a bad game, it was just painfully average, and uninspiring.

It was fun, and there wasn't anything wrong with it per se, but it just didn't push enough buttons for me.

I think its solid, but i wish that instead of pouring EVERYTHING into the visuals and online that they could bring back why I loved Halo 1 so much, the story

halo wars is great although you have to have a attention(sp) span longer than that of a goldfish and singleplayer wasnt that great but still good and multiplayer easily makes up for that

In my opinion, Halo 3's single player sucks balls, but that's why ODST is coming out, to be the salvation. I personally really like the multiplayer and probably play it more online than anything else.

I'm a single-player kinda fellow, so I don't really think it was meant to appeal to me.

Love the multiplayer.

It's great to be able to play 4 player splitscreen, which you don't see very often nowadays.

And the ability to play splitscreen with a guest online is just boss.

I have fun with my friends on it. There have been many times where i had to stop playing because i was laughing too hard. By myself though, eh, it was cool at first but then you notice you have no idea why you are doing the missions you are because the story is so vague. Also the machinima is pretty cool

It was definitely not a bad game. If Halo wasn't a big brand name, few people would honestly say the game is terrible.

However it is definitely over rated. Most things these days are. As a result, people condemn the game for every flaw it has, just because it is popular.

Don't get me wrong, it does have flaws. However I don't think these flaws justify calling it a bad game. It's just that people condemn the game for its popularity.
