I disagree with you there. I personally prefer single player games in general (with a few exceptions), but it's perfectly possible to have an excellent game that revolves around multiplayer. Left 4 Dead and Resistance 2 come to mind.Srkkl said:I think for a game to be great the singleplayer has to be compelling and have good replay value, Halo 3 doesn't deliver that.
Brother (or sister, I don't know you) you took the words right outta my mouth...see you on the battlefield...Internet Kraken said:It was definitely not a bad game. If Halo wasn't a big brand name, few people would honestly say the game is terrible.
However it is definitely over rated. Most things these days are. As a result, people condemn the game for every flaw it has, just because it is popular.
Don't get me wrong, it does have flaws. However I don't think these flaws justify calling it a bad game. It's just that people condemn the game for its popularity.
You mean like Halo Wars? (Except FPS's rather than RTS's obviously)Pandalisk said:Now that halo 3 is done i hope they give us some awesome Prequels
lets pretend Halo wars in RTS form never happened, but yes like that, i find the whole time in the series very interesting, also playing a marine rather than a god might shake it up a bitPi_Fighter said:I only played it a few times at a friend's house. It wasn't great. Multiplayer can only be as good as it's participants and as a singleplayer game, it just didn't deliver.
