I was thinking something similar: "7' tall juggernaut walking around in shiny, jungle green power armor...better throw on this shroud to conceal myself. There...that's better."
I don't know which is better that or everyone from Assassin's Creed.

i understand that they wanted that trailer to be all mysterious for the reveal, but the idea of wearing a duster over your power armour is profoundly stupid

The only comment I have about Halo 5 is that it seems like the new art style is bending towards the generic sci-fi look with lots of smoothness and glowy lights. The older armor designs had more familiar shapes to them and some identifiable roughness to the armor, without going into gears of war / warhammer 40k levels of absurdity.

Regarding the Update Art:
Well, that's some shiny new armour...
But it had better not be shiny new armour for the Chief because, well, frankly - that new helmet doesn't look like the Chief!
Apparently he is a new Spartan, but given the .... quality of Halo game scripts, my money is on him being somehow directly related to Master Chief.

Ugh, why a subtitle AND a number? Does every game need a subtitle now? Like, it's fine for games like Metal Gear, which has mostly been doing the subtitle and number thing for a while, but for Halo to be doing it for this game implies this isn't really a full Halo game. Halo 3: ODST was a smaller game about completely different characters, and as entertaining as it was, it certainly wasn't a full-scale Halo game. So now this game has a subtitle and the cover doesn't feature any kind of recognizable character and I can't get it out of my mind that this is going to be a smaller game. That's all from my perspective anyway, I'd like nothing more than to be wrong, but I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this way.

At any rate, I won't be getting excited for this any time soon as I won't have an Xbox One for at least a year. Sucks to not be part of a Halo launch for the first time ever but eh, I'm not ready to shell out 400 on a new console just yet. Too bad those fuckers never come out with PC versions of these games anymore.
