I'm torn: I'm a really big Halo fan, but I'm strongly opposed to watching anime. Eh. . . maybe if a friend gets it I'll watch. I won't be paying for it.

And, I could definitely go for some fanboy-head-explosions.

The best part about the whole thing (other than getting to watch Halo Legends in HD, of course) is going to be watching the die-hard Sony and Microsoft fanboys try to process the information without admitting that Halo is actually pretty cool and that Blu-Ray is an impressive technological format, respectively. Maybe their heads will explode. We can only hope, right?

Sounds like Bungie realized the anime will be crap, so they're marketing it to as wide a group as possible. Halo is to MS what God of War is to Sony. It'll take a lot more Halo installments (Halo XII, coming soon to a Playstation 8 near you) before MS give up their stranglehold on the games.

Thats not the master chief, its Spartan 1337 from "Odd One Out" the anime being developed for Legends by Toei Animation. Its non-cannon and meant to be satirical.


OT: I think that out of the seven anime (why is it always seven with bungie?) that are being produced for Legends at least one of them is going to be good (Hoping for all of them to be good). I do like the fact that they are producing many different styles of anime for this. Im planing on getting this when it comes out.

Actually the power armor makes sense, but the dinosaurs and over grown brutes are just stupid and this is why I cringed when I heard Halo Legends was going to be an Anime.

I already know about that my friend, but have you read the manga? It sucks, and the Batman animes did kick ass but only because they stuck pretty close to the character. The Batman stories weren't Japanified like they're doing with Legends.
