Anyways, while what he did was, cool, it's not as cool as this:

Modding. Its route is mod, for modifying. Forging is just a brand name for modifying (like band-aid for bandage). Hes a modder.

No. It doesnt. Otherwise plenty of PC games mods are not really mods either since some of them offer ways to modify the game without using outside tools. Anything in NWN would be Auroners then? If you change or modify something, then you're a modder. Using Forge is still modding. It may not be close to external mods that use complicated coding and completly altering what things can do, but because Bungie gave you some tools, doesnt invalidate it.

In terms of how the halo community discuss it on the Bungie fourms, modding means hacking, and If a thread was made with this title, you'd get in trouble.
