Halo3 and ADD

Okay, a few months ago, some friends and I were playing Halo 3. We were having fun and kicking ass. Someone asked to join our mic chat, and we allowed it. It just so happens to be a kid from our school (lets call him Bob). Bob is rather unliked person due to his uncontrollable anger issues. He's hurled chairs out plate glass windows, people. Anyway, we kick him off.

The following day, nearly 21 people are called down to the Vice Principles office to discuss the matter OF KICKING OFF POOR LITTLE BOB. We nearly got suspended, but seeing as the situation ocurred outside school, they could do nothing about it.

Now I'm not going to get offensive here, but does that really seem amazingly stupid? Kicking off the Kid with ADD at 7pm playing Halo 3 on one of the most corruptly infuriating gaming consoles?

What are your thoughts?

Wait a minute..
They called you down to the Vice Principal's office because you kicked him from your party, and with good reason?

Somebody needs to grow up, whether it be "Bob" or your VP.

What if they are the same person? o_O
OT: I don't understand why Bob would bring it up at school, but you are not at fault. At all. I hate people that are this stupid. (The VP, not Bob.)

I smell conspiracy! Will it end in a high speed chase? Lets hopes so!

It sounds like they thought you were bullying him. I can't blame the school for looking into what would have sounded to them like cyber bullying. You were not punished so clearly they decided you were not doing anything wrong, because most schools can punish you for actions outside of school.

So please tell me, are you often mean to this kid?

Id tell the school to back off. At the end of theday the kid has issue that you cannot control & you are within your rights to not want to play with him.

Kicking a kid because he has ADD is wrong. Kicking him because he is a douche, isn't.

well, first off..ADD just mean's he can't pay attention..i know cuz i'm ADHD ((can't pay attention and get hyper))....he's Bi-Polar or flat out has anger issues, and i agree with Knight Templar here, they looked into it, because they thought it was cyber bullying..especially if Bob told them that it was..i know what it's like to be bullied and cyber bullied by kids from school, and it's not fun..so all i say is, stick up for him a little if you see it happen, like just tell the kids off or tell somebody or something..but...i think it'd be more of an issue that his parents deal with ((aka taking away the 360 or internet for awhile until he can handle it))

No matter what the reason, there's no way a school can force students to associate with other students outside school.

Trying to quote Knight Templar but it doesn't seem to be working so whatever. Basically what he said. The kid probably ran and told someone as school and they investigated it under the pretense of cyber bullying. Oh and most schools actually can deal out punishments to stuff that happens off campus if they can connect it with something that happens in school. For example kid 1 calls kid 2 a name. Kid 2 then fights with kid 1 in some random nieghborhood. School can punish them for fighting because it's related to school even though the event took place out of school.

Now all that said I know thats how it works here in Florida so it might be different where you live.

The school most likely didn't find anything to prove or even hint that your were bullying him so thats why they let you go.

Oddly enough, i think its stupid enough to be believable. I remember a friend of mine got suspended from school for getting beaten up while the person who did it got a detention. That's fair, isn't it?

Really, OT why is someone with anger issues playing a violent game? They are the kind of people they ('psychologists') base these 'games make us killers' research off.

Reality is often stranger then fiction, for reality doesn't have to be believable.

anyway I get the feeling the OP is leaving something out.
People always leave something out. I'm still maintaining it's fake though. After the recent pair of LOL UBER FREAKOUT videos that have been virally spreading around the internet, I'm very apprehensive on listening to any story like this and believing it to be anything other than a subtle troll/cry for attention.

Depends on the circumstances. What provoked the attack? Did he instigate and then find he bit off more than he could chew?

As I said: People always leave something out.

Couldn't help but notice you're from the U.K.

In which case, let's just say you've never been to America, have you?

Others: Yes
Me: No - In fact I try to be nice to him, thinking that one day hes going to burst into school with a sawed-off... and you get the picture.

Although I agree that whole situation is one of... no, make it the dumbest thing I've heard a school do regarding video games, trust me on this.

That kid does not have ADD. He's just a bit psychotic. ADD kids aren't violent (they can be, but they're not related). We're just easily distracted!

Now, I would continue on with this conversation, but, as you may have assumed, I just got distracted by something...
